Taylor or Wenning?

You don't see it? Lol! That's cause it is an opinion man! I see it! And that is an opinion! I'm pretty sure that there are some cats in the league that you thought wouldn't make it....and did! And, some you thought would make it.....and didn't! It's the nature of the business! Now, my saying; "Hasn't Joe done this or that" wasn't to justify Tyrod's mistake but proved the point (just by your response to it) that you Tyrod-haters yourselves, will justify Joe's mistakes and then penalize, scrutinize and harshly criticize the backup for doing the same thing. To answer your question; IF...Tyrod was the main focal point of an offense as the "starting" QB like Joe Flacco is (i.e. taking all of the reps and practicing solely with the starters, starting the preseason and regular season games with the ones and not garbage time gameplay etc.); then YES!! He would be more than capable of starting in the NFL for another team. Personally, I'd love to see it!

But the question still remains, do you like Tyrod Taylor?

I think his question was though, in your opinion, what current starting QB is he better than right now? Where is he going to get more playing time?

Backups generally get their chance one of two ways: the starter goes down with injury and they come in and outplay them or play well enough that another team picks them up as a starter or the starter plays so badly, they are benched and the backup gets the nod and they play better.

Backups do not get reps with the first team. They don't get real game time. None of them and yet, many come in and perform.

Why all the Wenning love? What has Tyrod done to deserve a demotion? I understand he hasn't done anything to warren a promotion (obviously) but ... C'MON MAN! Wenning has like 2% of the experience of Taylor.

I know what his question was.  Do you believe that Tyrod has the ability to be a starting QB in the NFL?  And I answered that with a yes!  What's in red is actually your thought.

No, his quote ended:

"So, tell me where does he go for more playing time, because I don't see it. "

How is this even a question?

Wenning barely even got in during the preseason.  You think you want to go into a regular season with him as your back-up?

It would make more sense to pose the question... Tyrod Taylor or Tim Tebow.  At least Tebow has played an NFL game... won an NFL game... and even beat the Steelers in the playoffs.

Lol. Taylor made the 53. Wenning was cut. /thread.

:bunnyjumping: :bunnyjumping: :bunnyjumping:

I'd like to see us sign Wenning to the PS though, I think he has some potential as a backup, though Tyrod is clearly the better choice right now.

Delusional thoughts , are had by some. Its now apparent to me that you have a blind loyalty to the kid. Your commitment to Taylor is commendable, for (by MOST accounts) nothing more than a back-up QB. Also, you haven't proven anything significant with your questions of "hasn't Joe done this?", that's like saying hey, Carl Lewis tripped on a crack in the sidewalk... And soo have I, I must be just as good .. Heck, I too could be an Olympian !!

Give it a rest man, he's a below average QB that will likely never see the starting line-up as anything but an injury back-up . I can be labeled a "Tyrod-Hater", you can be labeled a "Tyrod -Apologist" .

To quote a song lyric I'm sure you know:

"BACK to LIFE, BACK TO REALITY"

What needs to be given a rest is your constant and useless rants (imo) against cats like myself that like Tyrod.  You don't!  So what?  We all have players that we like and don't like and that we choose to support.  One of mine is Tyrod.  But, your constant and vehement hatred for any support in here for Tyrod is interesting!  I'm actually starting to wonder why you hate that Tyrod has people in here that actually like him and think that he can do well in the NFL if given an opportunity elsewhere?  Why does that bother you so much just even for us to say or mention that?  That is what is interesting!  With all of the hate you have for him you should be glad that we are mentioning him leaving.  But what is funny; is that when we bring that up...his being traded, cut, waived or released you come up with tons of arguments for why he can't leave! Really?  LOL!!

Exactly.

Exactly?  Give it a rest!  Lol!  It really doesn't matter which team(s) I tell you that I feel that Tyrod could start for does it now?  Cause we both know you'll give a reason for why he "couldn't" do it.  After all, you don't see it...remember?  Besides, Tyrod is the backup and Wenning (your boy) got cut!  End of story!

Taylor is likely in his last year with us. You guys can resume in a year when he gets picked up by another team because someone will give him a chance. I think he would be a good fit in San Francisco, actually.

I know I said /thread but let me chime in here for one final thought on this.  I agree with you Grim 100%.  I believe that Tyrod will get picked up by another team as well.  And there are a few tams that I think he would do well on and have the opportunity to start.  Now...../thread cause I'm done with this topic.

First things first... I find it interesting that you find it interesting that I don't support a backup that isn't polished enough to be a starter on this roster or anyother. I feel it's pointless to "coach up" the guy on the bench when you have a QB that hasn't done anything except win his whole career, stabilize a historically weak position for our franchise, proven to be durable and did I mention WINS?... Yet, we have a set of individuals that shout from the roof tops how good the back-up is... It makes you sound foolish, even if you don't realize it.

Also, when have I ever said we need to keep Tyrod ? I thought that Painter looked better too... I think I know what you're looking for in a QB , it's pretty clear. I'll stick to the actual performance instead of pulling for "your boy". Wenning isn't my boy, he just happens to be cheap, young, mold-able, and a skill set that would play ok in Kubiaks system. BTW, he's on the Practice squad ...

If Tyrod turns into a quality starter, I'll say you were right... but would you buck up and do the same? Saying I was right? Doubtful.

Anyone sure Mili isn't the "Tyrod Fan Club" dude that left? What was that "cats" name?
