No but right now I wouldn't say there is any confidence that he could even come in and win a few games short term to keep us in the hunt.

 

If all we need is a serviceable back-up, looks like Wenning fits that bill and the offense would not need to be adjusted for his style of play. Just sayin'.

 

I think Tyrod has improved but I don't think it is unreasonable to expect much more improvement in 4 years.

The Packers are my reason why you don't sleep on a backup QB. Losing your QB for a few weeks isn't an excuse to not make the playoffs imo.
