I like this idea. i wish i had saw the signup in time. I'm finding it interesting to see how you all decide to build your teams. I like secret getting Duncan to go with Kobe.

Also, in a few years we may look back at this pick as steal of the draft

It might take more than a few years unless they win the next three championships. The rest of the players are pretty firmly positioned as the best of the best, but I do really like Durant, and your first couple picks have you a great luxury of drafting a guy like him.

Damn. I was hoping for a chance to nab Durant. It was between he and Baylor for my last selection. Great choice.

You're gonna need two baskets for all the scoring those two will do.

lol Thank you, my friend. Baylor wasn't much of a leaper, but his bank shot helped him shoot over defenders. I agree there and would hope so.

Wow, I totally underestimated Durant's value in this draft. Crazy but I like the pick, nevertheless.

Same here, I wouldn't have picked him for a while but it seems I'm in the minority.

He wasn't on my board for a while, but I do already have Dr. J, so I wasn't really looking for that position.

Just finished lunch with a lecturer I had last year. I'll be home in about 30 minutes and get my pick up then. My previous frontrunner from round two's still on the board, so I'm happier about going Robinson there.

There's 2 players I'm amazed are still available. Also, my favorite player ever is still available and I'm expecting him to go within the next 5 selections.....Wish I could drop a hint lol

I love the Bird & Robinson combo but Jordan & KG would have to be my favorite. Magic & Dr J though!! Kareem, Dirk and Barkley! Ahhhh they're all so great.

Wanted to go Malone in the second, but I saw there were four PFs I really liked at this spot (and only one C) so I figured I could double dip on the bigs. I'd have been happy with Malone, Barkley, Nowitzki or Garnett in that order, so they were all good picks imo.

Nowitzki would have been really nice though. With Bird already on the side, I'd have targeted a three-point shooter at SG and made "Make it Rain" by Lil Wayne my walkout song. Still, Bird, Malone and Robinson is a rocking frontcourt in this fan's opinion.

There's one other guy on my shortlist still on the board so I'll be interested to see where he goes.

There are so many ways I can see the next couple picks going. I have no idea who I should target. Will I go for one of my favorites, or who I think is best and would work well with my squad? I've gone with the latter the first two rounds...

I still don't understand how Dirk went before Karl Malone

Matter of preference, I guess. Maybe he wanted a guy with a ring. Otherwise, he would have the best two PFs that never won a championship on the same team.

I'm not complaining. ;)

But I feel like there's a degree of personal preference going on, with Nowitzki's three-point shooting and FT stats being absolutely off the charts for a PF and very tough to replicate down the line. The four guys I mentioned at the top of the page are reasonably interchangeable imo.

Great pick in Malone. He and Durant were among the top players on my board. I'm deciding between two players but I'm practically settled. My selection will be in shortly.

Because Malone could never win the big one, and Dirk provides a different skill-set offensively. I always thought Malone was overrated too, but that's just my opinion. Statistically there isn't that much that separates them other than Malone having a longer career.

Looking back, Gary Payton was a good pick but could you imagine Jordan, KD & KG all on the floor together? I only say this because KD was taken after Payton. It would be insane.

No, no. There's no separating us two.

Stockton was the guy I was curious about. If I'd gone Malone in the second, he would have been my top choice for the third.
