Good pick in Gilmore. I've had him in mind for several rounds.

Thanks - I figured this was my last opportunity to get him. Malone, Hayes, Webber and A-Train - that's plenty to deal with on both sides of the court. I am happy size wise and not afraid of anybody.

I was wondering when KJ would go.

Didn't think he would drop to me and am surprised about it. Maybe guys just don't like politicians?

I was absolutely in love with that Suns team of mid 90's.

Richard Dumas next?

Ralph was a dominant center for the first 6 or so years of his career.. I'll take those 6 years.

I'll give you three seasons, maybe four. I don't know about six, but those first three were really awesome.

Lol, you remember him! He actually played great when they made finals. I know it's addiction/sickness but 'b' after 'm' in his surname would suit him well.

And I'll take those first 4 easily....

If we were allowed to include college years, that's the best pick of the draft. I hate when injuries kill such a talented career. Same with Walton and Hill.

This is what I think of Gilmore getting taken before me.

Lol. At least I have an excuse, since I'm way over 30.

Is that SAM speaking or Sampson?

Not to mention Penny Hardaway.

The Dream Team (at least the NBA players from the Dream Team) is finally all selected. I'll be picking in a couple minutes.

Stoudemire was not the highest-rated player on my board by any means, but with the contemporary players dropping like flies, I knew I had to get him now. Using the best stretch of a career and taking all these current players already, I'm surprised he wasn't long gone to begin with.

I went the wrong order. All of a sudden people are going back to the good old days. I thought Inqui was gonna steal my guy, but it was Truth. Archibald this late may be the steal of the draft.

I can think of another guy who's still in play that'd be a legit case for the biggest steal.

Archibald was on my shortlist, but I probably would have gone with Arizan anyway as there are still about 12 PGs I like. I really wanted Mullin with my previous pick, as he was the last SF I jotted down before the draft began. Back to the drawing board on that front.

I have a feeling the wait before my next pick is going to be killer for me to watch. Stoudemire was so sick for that 4-5 year span when he was All-NBA, but I probably should have waited to see if he'd fall another round.

I think he could've been available another round, but who knows? Maybe not. I wasn't considering drafting Stoudemire, but then again I already have two power forwards. I actually have his #32 Phoenix Suns jersey back when Nike made NBA jerseys. This one to be exact.

Calvin is who I was afraid of snatching him. He's taking all the young guys. I should have played the odds and known Tiny had virtually no shot at dropping back to me. On the bright side, I went small early on, but if you check my depth at the 4/5 positions, it's ridiculous now. If you have bigs who can't shoot free throws, I have a TON of fouls to give. All my guys can grab boards, too. This worked out okay for me.

Sorry y'all, I searched Mutumbo in the thread and he didn't show up so I picked him. Should have checked the first page

Don't worry. It caught me too. It wasn't until I googled his name that I learned it was spelled Mutombo.
