The OTB select:

Grant Hill, SF

Nice picks. You're still one pick behind, and we're one away from your turn in Round 7 as we speak.

Haven't checked rosters in awhile but to ER20's defense he's from across the pond so I doubt he knows the history of the league as most of the others drafting

Dizzle, I'm offended. Lol I might be a Brit by birth but I lived in the US for 7 yearsand have read up a ton about basketball. Even since moving back to the UK three years ago, I've watched hella hoops documentaries and read a ton. I know the league's history.

I'm aware but thanks for the heads up.

Also, I know the league started well before the 90s. Lol

I was joking, but you have formed a nice team without going back any further.

So who's on the clock now?

Still you, I believe. I was the last pick before he made up for his skips, so you've been free to pick ever since I went.

Yep, MoveThoseChains is up and I believe ER20 is back in play.

I wanted Penny too. He was going to be my late-round homer pick but I see I wasn't the only one with thoughts of him.

Definitely not. I was considering him with one of my next two picks.

The clock started at my pick, correct? That means he is able to be skipped early tomorrow morning if he's already gone to bed.

There are six players left I really want, and I think there's a possibility I can snag five of them in the last five picks if I select them in the right order. Gotta sense the trends and hope for the best.

That means it's finally time for me to start drafting players from the previous era

Goodrich! A UCLA bruin and an excellent scorer who is fundamentally sound(John Wooden coached him for god's sake). I'll take that off of the bench

Welp, I have a bad feeling my board is going to get wrecked during the next 10 picks.

*by taking a fundamentally sound baller who was coached by the greatest coach of all time and by having a team that can score on you in 50 different ways and can defend everyone just as easily.....

I'm only 16 btw

None of what you just said is news to me. Not saying you're making bad picks. I actually think you have the best team of the 5 or 6 that are primarily assembled of post-80s players, and I'd put you in the top three or four for the moment of all the owners not named beanfigger (of course I like my own players).

My Dad is a gigantic 80s fan so I've watched a ton of the huge games... So I've actually seen some of them in action at their best. I would actually take Magic over Jordan for the specifics of this game. Long term franchise, I'd want Magic leading the way, he made everyone around him that much better. For one season? Jordan.

And no bias :P

I have Magic second behind Jordan and before Oscar and all the centers. You have what I consider the best PF ever and the second best SG. Not a bad duo to build a franchise around, and then you added one of the most underrated players of the late 80s/early 90s and a top five PG (I don't care what gabe says, haha). You're first four can contend with anyone's, and you had no need to go back and research the oldies.
