Its the "real" preseason game! Starters for at least a half and we get to see what we really have!

Cannon ball!!!!

I've had the opportunity for the pool picture 2 of those 3 weeks, but the week I posted last year, we lost.  I'm afraid to jinx us, even in the preseason lol.

I'll be easy to find, just look for the "I may live in Washington, DC, but I'm always in Ravens Country T-shirt"  in purple with the DC outline with the Maryland State flag.

none of our starting corners are playing so its not really all our starters.

I just want to see the offense execute well.

As for the defense I want to see us get some sacks and defend against the run.

Will Jacoby be returning kickoffs and we putting in Thompson. I like both of them but I still think Jacoby has the edge but Thompson might be in cause he is younger and less to lose..

I think you are right there... Thompson has speed....  He has shown some of that.  I think with Jacoby in there as our other outside depth receiver, they may be looking to replace him.  We saw last year what happened when we lost Jacoby for a couple of games...  I wouldn't want that to happen again...

I wonder if RG3 blames us for the dive his career took...

Well it is technically our fault.... Just another reason for the media to hate us haha.

Why I don't like most run first qbs. They're fragile

I would like to hear what he thinks about that.

Big Ben is a pass first guy and the injuries are taking or have taken their toll.  I don't know if I can say he's fragile as much as it was just a really awful attempt to slide.  I don't know where you're taught to slide with your leg up at a 340+ NT who's as athletic as Ngata.

Big Ben holds onto the ball for too long to go with a terrible offensive line. He's had injuries more of because of his stupidity. He's mobile in the pocket, but he's not run first.

Bob is small for a QB. He's what? 215? Going against defensive linemen that are bigger, and linebackers.

The point is for one of these guys(run first super athletic qbs), there's a bunch of big athletic defensive players who can deck a guy. And since they're not as big, they're easier to injure.

You want to stop a mobile QB from running? Deck em a few times a game and take a penalty if they call one. They won't run anymore if they're not injured already.

I will give you that it was a bad slide attempt. That was the main catalyst, but I have a feeling that an injury would've happened to him soon due to his style of play.

Yeah if our secondary looks anything close to decent tonight I will be shocked. At least we should get some answers as to who is worth a spot and who isn't against some good WRs

Yeah, I'm expecting to see a fair amount of yellow flags tonight considering the talent we're facing and the field conditions. Wet field = a lot of slipping & sliding.

Djax and Garcon against our backups. This does not fare well for us at all.

Quite the contrary: our backups have a chance to practice covering guys like them. If it was a regular season game, it would be a totally different matter - but it's not, and the result is not important.
