I didn't think we'd cut bait with Mims yet or Wood considering his connection to Kubiak but none of these names are surprising.

 

Wood doesn't surprise me at all.  I wouldn't say Mims is surprising necessarily, but I did think we'd keep him around for one more game just for depth purposes.

Yeah, I don't see any as a surprise. I just thought they might last until the final waive of cuts. I don't like the idea of sending Pierce out there next game. In fact, I'm beginning to doubt he can ever be more than a complementary RB.

Looks like it'll be a heavy dose of Forsett, Taliaferro, and Toussaint.  I doubt Pierce plays.  Him being a complementary back is a whole different argument lol.

No doubt. It just came to mind when I mentioned him and his injuries and wanting to prevent him from being injured in that final game. I hope we can name him look good this year and that he can remain healthy. He has two more years left on his rookie deal. I'd definitely consider trading him next off-season if we got a good deal.

No DL released, so I guess we now know that we won't be risking injury and we'll be letting these young guys handle a majority of the game.
