What matters more to you. Graphics or Gameplay?

I have always preffered gameplay as that is the actual GAME over the graphics just being pretty. Sure its great if they both are awesome but if the gameplay sucks the graphics don't really improve the experience.This is mostly why I decided to go with a console over a PC as I was more comfortable with a controller than a stiff board and I valued that over pretty games. What do you think?

Game play and Well Writen backdrop story ..... nothing peves me more then spending 60 bux on a game to have its story a rehash of something done last week by another company  Give me characters i can feel for .... but dear God do not let claptrap write it

Gameplay is my buying point. Graphics are an added bonus. Fun Factor is where it's at and Replayability

I still play Tecmo, which should answer that question pretty definitively. Although you should take my opinion with a grain of salt as, you know, I still play Tecmo.

Video games is about gameplay. If you care about graphics go watch a movie or look outside.

i have to say, nowadays both matters...i love playing the old games, but if a new one comes out and the graphics sucks, thats a bit of a "turn-off"
