Never been afraid of thunder in my entire life but there was one boom last night that made me jump right out of my bed. Came out of nowhere as well.

Anybody done a lot of home improvement stuff ie kitchen, flooring, bathroom, counter tops?  Im in the beginning stage of buying my first home and am looking at places that haven't been upgraded yet so that I can do it myself to increase the value.  Was just wondering if anyone had any good links or recommend any reading for me.

Zambian tennis player Lighton Ndefwayl had a raft of excuses after losing a 1992 match to Musumba Bwayla. We'll let Ndefwayl tell the story.

"Bwayla is a stupid man and a hopeless player. He has a huge nose and is cross-eyed. Girls hate him. He beat me because my jockstrap was too tight and because when he serves he farts, and that made me lose my concentration, for which I am famous throughout Zambia."
