Thanks again everyone. Home with the two older ones and headed back tomorrow of course. First time leaving my wife with any of the 3 births, but with a 4 year old and a 2 and 1/2 year old, not much of a choice.

New baby needs to stay in NICU for 7-10 days, so sort of a bummer that we can't take him home when we get discharged in a few days, but could be worse.

Is it just precautionary since he was a bit early?

Nah, my second was just as early and he came right into our room. This little dude has some infections cause apparently my wife's water broke, but didn't leave the body. That stuff can be toxic and now both wife and baby are sick. Adults can fend off sickness better than premature babies, obviously. So they need to monitor him closely and make sure he's 100% before we can take him home.

Kids. It pays to be kind and charming to customer service representatives.

After a 30 minute conversation with a young lady about her Atlanta Falcons and HBO's hard knocks, I got upgraded to the full NFL Sunday ticket package for free. red zone and everything.

:)

I also got the brand-new Genie DVR and a $10 discount per month on my overall service.

Buying textbooks is the worst.

Depending on the course, you can get away with only borrowing them from the library when you have an assignment due. But then, BAs were never known for being a strain on the academic life.

I usually don't buy textbooks but I had to buy an online access code for one of my classes.  Purchased it this morning for $77 only to look 2 hours later to see the same exact thing listed for $60.  Spent some time recouping that money lol.

Like Bigfoot, I'm making a rare and unexpected visit.

What's new? Nothing. Just tons of personal stuff.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Meet River!

Congrats!

Drugs Inc just spotlighted Baltimore. Yup, still hate this city with a passion. Other than meeting my wife in the city and the Ravens, I despise Baltimore.

What I constantly say about Baltimore. Except for the wife part...

Can I move to San Diego? San Fran isn't too nice either.

Holy crap. 60,000 heroin addicts in Baltimore? I've got it set to record in a couple days.

Yeah, it was eye opening. As a naive and ignorant kid from the county, I was sheltered from this crap, but wow. Just confirms that I will NEVER let my kids go to the city. And the first chance I am comfortable leaving MD (staying mainly due to my parents and especially with my old man being sick), to Destin we will go.

I am not, however, naive enough to think this is only present in cities like Baltimore, Detroit, etc...but it is certainly more readily available and is increased due to income levels, poverty, etc.

Based on murder rate, crime rate, drug rate etc, Baltimore is pretty dangerous and pretty much top 5 in all categories. Its a gross city!

Baltimore and Philadelphia, two shining jewels of the East Coast.     lol

I believe 2 of the most violent cities are St. Louis and Camden NJ.  I think that's according to FBI data on violent crimes.

Wilmington, DE is giving all of these cities a run for their money in every nasty statistic you can name, per capita of course.

I've been up there a few times for work and I dread it each time.

What would the demand be like for a Draft a Raven game? I see they do it on other forums, where you pick a player and they're "yours" for the season - it's basically a player to track and jump on their bandwagon (in my case buy a jersey). Kinda pointless but looks kinda fun. On a Saints forum I saw they do a two-round snake draft where you come away with an offensive and defensive player.
