Dump Thread v7.0 - "Something Cool Here"

Coming from someone who loves school, I don't think school means that much. Sometimes it's required and sometimes it makes things easier, but you can be just as successful working a trade or running your own business. Just gotta work at it. We all have different callings. Find what you like and make yourself good at it.

For once, I am glad I am an older member of this place. School was the worst and my 1.9 GPA and then no-show for college was quite sad.

It's not for everyone, but when I've done so well in the past it sucks to fail. I hate failing and losing.

And every time you complain about your age, I post a picture of Danny Glover

I actually like school as well. I had enough credits to graduate over a year ago but I went back because I wasn't ready to start working everyday for the rest of my life yet.

I was lazy and had no drive whatsoever. My only motivation to keep above a 2.0 (during season) was sports. And let's just say when the dean of sudents was also the head football coach, strings were pulled for football and all sports really.

I don't mean to offend you for the record. Sorry if I did. I just don't have confidence that I can achieve half of what you have, let alone most of my father's peers who are all successful.

Offended? Nah, nothing you've said was offensive.

Just live man. You're 16/17. Work hard and the pieces will fall into play.

Hey. From the words I've seen you type. You're a good man. Can be outspoken, but good still. That comes first.

School is school. Learn as much as you can. The grades? Meh, just get the best to your ability.

At the end on the day when you type that GPA onto your resume and frame your diploma, you better have the knowledge to go along with it...

Personally, I've learned more through working experience then I ever did in a classroom. Might be different for other careers/studies but I always wanted to know the application of what I was doing, not some theory garbage.

Depending on the field Theory could be applicable in the field of execution as well.... the field I am choosing Neuro-Psych the Field is still so new that over 80% is still theory so knowing Theory is applicable .
