So I have a drop in my hours next week, and with Christmas coming up, I'm thinking of resurrecting my present wrapping business idea. What do you guys think is a reasonable rate for that?

College papers....

everywhere...I've done like half a page in the last 3 hours. Too boring and I'm on Thanksgiving break...come on

I'm with you.  I have an 8-10 page paper due on Monday.  I've had countless hours in the past couple of weeks but there's still an empty word document saved lol.

Check at your local department stores to see what they charge, then use that rate ( or slightly less).

I'm in a EU class bro and 2 other 300 level courses. I took these classes before I was supposed too....long story... I have a research paper on violence, terror, and race in aztec life before meeting the Spanish.

To be fair, that actually sounds pretty interesting.

Had the best weird question ever today. Someone called to see if her mom could use a picture of a coupon since her mom lives closer to our store. Mom comes in, pulls up picture of coupon her iPhone. Then she asked me if I could tell from that picture of the coupon what scents her daughter wants.

Not sure if she thought it was secretly encoded and we could scan it and get a list or what...

Writing papers comes easily to me (thankfully). Good fit for a journalism major.

It comes easily to me as well.  The motivation to start is the issue.

Same with me granted I don't have huge papaers to write, biggest one I have had is like 3 pages so yeah. But getting started on them can be quite a challenge. I am fine writing about interesting stuff but when I could care less about what I am writing, it takes a while to get anything going.

I've become a champion at BSing papers.  It's a quite accomplished skill I believe I've developed.

Found out today that a kid I've known since kindergarten is now trans and identifying as a female. I'm open minded and if that's his/her thing, that's fine. It's just weird actually seeing someone change that much.

My husband could write a 5 page paper on anything with BS sources and make it interesting, it's a gift

That's pretty much how I am.  I typically read the abstract, get the general idea, and make everything else up.

I can barely read, hate writing, suck at math and am basically completely uneducated. Its something I cherish and hope to pass onto my children one day.

For a first-year essay I once took a quote from Yes Minister (yep, the British comedy show), rephrased it to sound academic and then cited it as from some obscure political journal I came across. I'm pretty sure you couldn't have gotten away with something like that 40 years ago.

it makes me sick to see that you people hate reading. You are all probably the people who watch the movies based off of books and think you know the general idea of the book   :34853_shakehead:  :34853_brickwall:

Have you ever read an academic article, council report or legal opinion? They're all genuinely more tedious than listening to Steelers fans talk about their six Lombardis.

I recently read all the ASOIAF books, they are some pretty big guys but are quite entertaining.

Precisely.  This paper I'm doing now is 8-10 pages.  There are 40+ students in the class.  The professor has a little over a week to grade them.  I can guarantee she isn't going to be verifying sources.

Yeah, 20-30 essays, 30+ sources each (depending on how big the essay is). No way in hell are they all getting vetted. And the people I've seen get done for something like that only tend to get a slap on the wrist.

Maybe I should have gone to UNC.
