even a stray dog gets a bone every now and then... until he can be consistent i wont jump on the bus. i still think he is being payed way to much and we traded more for him than he was worth.
You have to admit he did improve a little from the previous games. Before he was dropping all sorts of balls, I still think he needs to work on his agility before he starts. He looked just a notch above Marion Barber last night in total fitness.

I'm still judging him off that one play it took him 4 steps to come to a complete stop and attempt to switch directions, he needs to narrow that down to 1 or 2.

Ha to all of you who had written McGahee off. I said 3 or 4 weeks ago that McGahee would come through for us in a big way during our final 4 games. Sure he's struggled but anyone watching that game has to know if we went 3 and out on that drive Dallas would have scored and we would have lost. That 77 yard touchdown run saved our season. Now keep it up Willis!

Maybe this really is a case of Willis finally getting healthy and into game shape. If he is turning the corner it would be a huge plus for our offense right now. His cuts looked strong and he looked fast, even getting to the edge. Rice is coming back healthy, McGahee is coming back, and McClain has been solid all year long.

I think against the Jags we'll see a McClain/McGahee tandem with a sprinkle of Rice to let him really come back strong for the playoffs.

Here's a good interview McGahee just did with Jay Crawford on ESPN:
