Steelers and Eagles Thursday night on NFLN should be interesting. See if the Steelers D match up against the Eagles O.

The moment of truth has come (atleast as close to the truth as you can get in pre-season). The big test run for NFL teams: WEEK 3 of the NFL PRESEASON.  ÔoÔ

Starts out with Philly and the Steelers. That Pitt secondary vs Kelly's offense. Not a good combination.

I feel like running the ball will still be hard for any team against Pitt, but throwing ,on the other hand, will be really easy (that secondary is so bad). Foles will have a great day passing, imho.

3 rookie quarterbacks taken in the first round......

3. Blake Bortles to Jacksonville

22. Manziel to Cleveland

32. Bridgewater to Minnesota

Manziel couldn't beat out Hoyer, Bridgewater couldn't beat out Cassel. It seems to me Blake Bortles will be the only rookie quarterback starting in week one unless Bradley makes the dumb move of starting Henne.

Highly doubt Bortles is starting week one.

I wonder if Blount and Bell will be playing.

It's already been announced that Bridgewater won't start?

No point in not sitting Bortles and letting him continue to develop since the Jags aren't just a quarterback away from winning

The Steelers offense looked alright. Ben is hitting his receivers (there were some drops, though), the running game looks productive, but that defense looks really average. Nothing to be afraid of.

So what, if Polamalu is getting to the ProBowl? He didn't deserve to get there for atleast the last 2 seasons. The ProBowl is popularity contest only. Totally useless.

Steelers going to end up first in the AFC North?  They look fairly lost out there.

It's not like we looked like world beaters in Big D either.  :eyes: The Bengals are probably the best preseason team in the AFCN right now (not like it's worth anything, because it isn't).

This is the truth, but the Steelers really have looked pretty horrendous.  Imagine how they'll look without a running back :D

Some of Ben's early passes were on point, but the WRs were dropping the ball pretty badly (almost looked like our guys last year), but there were some head scratchers also, I agree. Their run game looks really good, though. I have to admit that. Too bad, they will have to go to Baltimore without those guys, most likely. That's not gonna make things easier. :D

Don't think the league will suspend them that early

I'm not looking forward to seeing Blount again. He whipped our D as a Patriot last year. -_-

Yeah but Belichick cheated. We prepared for Brady's pass game and they ran all day on us

Why does everyone think we played the Patriots last year? I swear I would have remembered it if we had.

You're probably right. That game never happened. We also never closed out the season against the Bengals or started our season in Denver. We played against the Vikings like 8 times, though. What a crazy season that was.

I am already hating the refs and dumb throw by Ben

Nice diving catch by Caroll, though. But really, that ball went nowhere. Btw, is Denver Ben's Alaska? I'm hearing it alot in this game.
