Receivers In This Game?!

Recently when I've been playing Madden, wide receivers usually break EVERY first tackle. Then like 3 or 4 after that.

Plus, Fred Taylor becomes unstoppable late in the game. Breaks three of my linebackers tackles.

Almost like the game picks a winner before the game even begins and make sure that win happens? i love Tj houshyourmama tossing ray lewis with one hand and just jogging through 4 tackles on his way to the endzone 90 yards away.

Mason usually breaks one for me right after the catch, specially if its a curl and they are right on him when he catches it.

I was playing online and Brandon Jacobs broke 6 COUNT EM! 6!!! tackles on ONE run against me. Not like spaced out either, like bang bang bang bang bang bang tackles right before breaking in the secondary for a 50 yard TD run. 2 guys even hit him at once the one hit... That made me mad.

Yeah Fred Taylor is just insane. On average it takes about 2.5 tackles, he's tough, but not that tough.

Not to mention Warrick Dunn trucks Bart Scott and escapes the arms of Ngata. You NEED gangtackles to take down some people

yea i find ot hard to contain scat backs, i can hold any back to an average of about 2 yards per carry but they always break one big run somehwhere in the game and are impossible to tackle

Ok so hes not a receiver but I was playing online a ranked game where I was Oakland and the other dude was Dallas and Felix Jones ran straight up the gut and I hit him with Kirk Morrison, very very solid tackler on the game (usually) and he stiffarms him to the face then shakes my safety for the td...... sometimes this crap happens, just the imperfection of the game. I guess they figure players cant make every tackle, so yeah. But I definitely see what you mean. Nothing is more frustrating then losing a ranked game because of a broken tackle by a guy who shouldnt break tackles

Well felix jones can break tackles but not running up the gut and stiff arming kirk morison lol

I like how you can't ever make the precision throw you want to make... its hit a button soft or hard. I wish they would realize that passes that arn't completely wide open can be completed


I just hate madden... the've had 20 years to make it good and it still has mutlipull problems
