yea I was just saying how I agree with your point that Brooks will probably be more of an CB this year, and I think it might be a permanent move for him. He's much more comfortable as a CB and wouldn't be surprised to see him have a really strong game tonight.

Also I think the Ravens really struck big with Will Hill, so I don't want people to think I'm knocking him. Just don't believe he'll be handed anything. Which is why I would like to see him run with at least the 2nd team and kind of give him some exposure before he is forced to leave for 6 weeks. But I'm sure the coaches have a plan that none of us will ever know about.

A projected secondary of Jimmy, Webb, Brooks, Hill, Ace and Elam is pretty exciting. Hopefully all those guys get a chance to play together this year.

This sort of remeinds me of the 2012 season with the offensive line. Before our playoff game with the Colts, many fans were Clamoring for the McKinne-KO-Birk-Yanda-FalseStart lineup rather than that garbage they put on the field in the regular season with Oher at LT.  Come playoff time, that O-Line was changed and we all remember what happened next. I would love that secondary Unit between Jimmy-Webby-Asa-Brooks with Hill and Elam at the safety, I think that back field maximizes our potential on Defense. I am really itching to see him play though. Furthermore, I know it doesnt translate to the NFL, but I think Hill and Elam started togerther on Florida when they were a top ranked Defense. I guess we'll see.

Yea and when I say I could see Brooks move to CB it's still more as a 3rd Safety type as opposed to just flat out move to CB. I saw Elam in the slot a lot, so the Stress said safeties will definitely be interchangable.

Look at Florida States Corner of the last few years, Xavier Williams got drafted in the 1st. Darby and Williams are going to be Day 1/Day 2 prospects when they come out. That's not exactly a knock on him, but him getting playing experience where he can. He would play Nickelback if he got moved to CB, so you him playing FS/NB hybrid isn't far from just playing Nickleback while Stewart/Hill play FS.

Xavier Rhodes?

Oh yeah, I agree he has the talent to be a quality safety. I'm not sure about him as a CB though.

Brooks at CB is an unmitigated disaster.  Like missing your starting 3 corners.
