Preseason 2 - Baltimore Ravens at Dallas Cowboys

We definitely learned a few things from this game. Our DL depth isn't that good. Our OL depth is awful outside of Jah Reid (He's really not that bad compared to others) and perhaps even Gino. Jensen needs work. Hurst should go on IR and improve for next year. He's not ready. Thompson is still looking great as a KR. Campanaro has skill as a PR. Gilmore is a tank. Tramain Jacobs looks like a promising CB prospect. Trawick is improving and is looking even better and might actually have a nice impact on the defense if he continues. Omar Brown played poor. Olatoye looked lost and needs to go on the PS. Wenning wasn't winning tonight and needs some of the tiger blood from Charlie Sheen. Arthur Brown played well against the run. Urschel made some really nice blocks and opened holes for our RB to go through.

Overall, a nice bit to evaluate our depth.

My Ed Reed comment was tongue in cheek but I see nothing impressive at all in the secondary . Take Jimmy and Webby away and we will get torched this year

I think ASA has game and I would like to see what Hill can do at Safety

As far as I'm concerned, as long as we add no one else, pick 10 or 11 of:

CB: Smith, Webb, Jackson, Brown, Franks, Jacobs

S: Elam, Stewart, Miles, Brooks, Trawick, Levine

I think everyone else has proven that they don't have a shot at this point.  Tonight really narrowed it down.

I'd agree entirely. Olatoye and Seamster might be PS candidates unless we have our eyes on someone better. I know I told berad I doubted we would go with 11, but I can see 11 secondary players ATM.

I think Asa Jackson and would say that even Tramain Jacobbs have promise. I think Franks could become better as the year goes on if he makes the team. Secondary isn't that bad. Trawick looked good.

Well I'm not sure why we couldn't find a way to keep Corey Graham . I think we could

still been under the cap .

We just need to get Webby and Smitty back... along with Asa...  Not time to panic yet.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Ozzie try to trade for a corner, I don't know what the price would be but I would imagine he is checking the market.

I really like the way our special teams played however, they may seem insignificant but as tonight showed, it can be all the difference.

Yeah I've been doubting 11 myself but with our injury issues and the fact that Trawick, Levine, Brooks, and Stewart can all provide some help at CB and ST, I think we could end up going with 11.

Webby and Jimmy have both been injury prone . So I'm not panicking but I'm pretty concerned

about our secondary .

Iagree with all of this. I WOULD ADD.  Our corner depth is bad though.  Our safeties are not skilled either.

If we drop Deonte or he doesn't make the roster he is going to get picked up.

I wasn't questioning the name, but the fact that he said he doesn't trust him.

oh ok, I thought you were just drawing a blank on the name, happens to me sometimes
