"the Hardest Schedule In The Nfl"

9 posts in this topic

Im sick of hearing all this about how bad of a schedule Pittsburgh has this year, especially when the only ones we havnt faced are the Bradyless Patriots and the Chargers...Yeah, the Chargers. I think we actually had a tougher opponent in the Dolphins than the Patriots, and the Raiders and Chargers are just as bad as eachother this year. Along with facing a desperate Cowboys, last game at Texas Stadium and who really has the toughest schedule?

In the beginning of the season, I don't think anybody thought that any team in the AFC North would have over 10 wins this year. The Steelers have proved that wrong and hopefully our Ravens will prove that wrong also.

As far as the toughest Schedule, yes the Steelers did have the hardest coming 'into' 2008. We had the fifth hardest coming 'into' 2008.

As far as who has the hardest schedule as of right now...I guess I would have to tilt my hat to the Steelers TBH. Colts being second, followed by the Ravens being 3rd IMO.

You can just say that anybody in the AFC North had it rough this year.

Please explain why we are any more/less desperate than the Ravens?

Both teams:
9-5
Playing a non-conference game.
Fighting for a wild card spot in the playoffs (Us currently the 5th seed, you currently the 6th seed)

Clinching possibilities for both:

Dallas can clinch the 5th seed with a win tonight, and losses by 3 of the following 4 teams - TB, PHI, CHI, or ATL.

Baltimore has no clinching possibilities this weekend.

Don't worry about all the talk. Usually people talking about bad schedules are just sour division or conference rivals ( or in some cases, writers who WISH they could play pro football) that just have to say anything to garner attention for their own shortcomings.

May we have an injury free game tonight. Good luck.

Why do you say that? Because ESPN didnt mention it? They clinch with a win, and losses by the Dolphins and Patriots.

I too do not know how that if we win, and then the dolphins and patriots lose, we wouldnt clinch a spot? That would put us at 10 and 5 and the patriots and dolphins at 9-6, and we have the tiebreaker over them both. Which would mean even if we lost the last week, and those two won, we would all be tied with tiebreaker to us.
