Please Rate My Fantasy Football Team

I hope that I am allowed to post a new thread concerning ratings of my team. If not, please merge it to where it belongs.

I am in a 12 team PPR league, and would appreciate any advice on how to improve my team. Please give me a rating from 1-10 on how good my team is.

QB: Drew Brees/Joe Flacco

RB: Adrian Peterson/Ray Rice/Lamar Miller

WR: Brandon Marshall/Alshon Jeffery/Cordarrelle Patterson/Julian Edelman (PPR monster)/Brandin Cooks/Cecil Shorts/Doug Baldwin/Jeremy Maclin

TE: Jimmy Graham/Julius Thomas/Ladarius Green

K: Dan Bailey

DEF: Browns

So, how did I do?

Current PPR ADP:

Adrian Peterson - 4.0

Jimmy Graham - 8.0

Brandon Marshall - 12.0

Drew Brees - 23.0

Alshon Jeffrey - 24.0

Julius Thomas - 29.0

Is this a keeper or trading of picks league?  If not, this is another one of those examples where you are either drafting with 5 y.o's or yourself. You got 5 guys (6 if you count fringe Thomas) with ppr ADPs within the first two rounds of a 12 team ppr league.  I have yet to see Jimmy Graham slip out of the first, especially in a ppr league.

So you have the talent for sure.  Assuming you start 2 RBs, you don't have enough RBs and too many TEs/WRs.  But luckily your talent at those positions should help overcome any issues that might arise at RB.

Haha, I gained those players through careful trades and with a strategic mindset. I know how to pull off steals for deals, trust me. Thanks for rating the team!

By the way, do you think I should trade some of those WR's/TE's as part of a package to get a beast RB?

This is always easier said than done.  Trading FOR running backs is the toughest trade to pull off.  Usually coming at the cost of the person obtaining the RB.  Usually people are pretty set at RB without excess after the draft.

God forbid AP goes down with an injury, Rice remains at a sub 4 ypc and splits with Pierce, or Miller's ppr production gets eaten away by Moreno.   Then you're in trouble at the position if you need to start 2.

I would try because you have the depth.  You can afford to give up your #2 TE, and one of your #3 WRs without much damage.  But even if you don't your WRs/TEs/QB should carry your team despite your RBs.

That's a monster team, but very thin at RB. I would try to trade Maclin, Shorts, and/or Baldwin for a pass-catching RB. Maybe even throw in Green in some combination. You are stacked at WR and TE so I would try to do a 2 for 1 even though you may lose some value it will help your team.

RBs I would target are Shane Vereen, Andre Ellington, CJ Spiller,Doug Martin, Pierre Thomas, Joique Bell.

Nice team. I would try to trade either Alshon or Cordarelle for a pretty solid RB. You have Marshall, who is Cutler's favorite target. Alshon will get his, but McCown looked his way more than Cutler usually does. Cordarelle could be a beast, but he does have some risk. People are high on him now, and you could get good value for both Alshon or Cordarelle. You have great depth at WR, and you need depth at RB.

Try to trade Thomas/Shorts or Thomas/Maclin for a RB like Gio Bernard, Andre Ellington, Eddie Lacy, Ladeveon Bell. Or trade Patterson/Thomas/Maclin for a guy like Forte. You are more than deep enough at TE/WR, but you need another good RB

One can't help but wonder how much your league peers know about football.

He's clearly playing in a 12 team league with his 11 pets

One guy took a kicker and a defense in the 2nd and 3rd round respectively
