I never appreciated the movie Mrs. Doubtfire.  I did and still like the "Night at the Museum" movies, and his stand up comedy acts.  He just made EVERYONE laugh...  From young to old.  He crossed every walk of life.

For sure.  He has the clean, goofy comedy for the children and the dirtier side for the adults.  I think his dramatic acting is very underrated as well.

Truly sad - maybe the thing I appreciate the most about Robin Williams was his sheer ability to remain relevant for decades - he made major hits for almost 30 years (and made me laugh for almost all of them), and I definitely feel he had a lot more to give.  You will be missed.

Usually celebrity deaths just get an "Oh, that sucks," from me, but this one actually kinda hurts.

Word. Still feels weird 24 hours on. Having loved his work for so many years I still can't come to grips with the thought that it's all over.

I have been in a number of conversations about his many works.

With out question in my mind Good Will Hunting is his best over all. That is such a great movie on many levels.

Honorable mention to Aladdin and Mrs. Doubtfire.

But the one over looked movie I think is One Hour Photo.

A dark creepy movie. Robin Williams plays a dark disturbed person. A pretty far departure from any thing I had ever seen him do. Not to mention a real far cry from the personality what seemed to be his personality.

He was pretty amazing in this part.

I just read his wife said he was diagnosed with Parkensons on Monday. That could have been "the straw that broke the camels back"

Just read that as well ,   he must have figured he did not want to end up not being able to make others happy or to be a burden .....I know what it is like to think that way,   Sometimes it gets so dark you see no way out , this type of loss is near crippling  for a lot of people ,   in the end it was selflessness a drive to be the person helping and not wanting to be the one being helped that did it ,  Robin Williams will be sorely missed .
