Last two years GB has gotten beaten by SF week 1.  Just don't know they can go into Seattle (where the fans will be absolutely nuts in wk 1) against a similar team.

I think Lacey running inside early followed by Rodgers fast pace offense could wear put Seattle early. The big question is the packers D improved enough to slow Seattle down at least. I say 27-23 packers

I went against the grain for a couple, though those felt like token upset picks people made just for the sake of having a couple picked. The one I'm least sure of is Dallas-SF - that seems like a real toss-up.

Dallas's D is so bad the 49ers should be able to control the game by running the ball. Sf's D just needs to come up with a few stops.

Seems like lot of people, including myself, are putting too much trust in pre-season games as far as 49ers go. They'll miss some very important defenders but I started having second thoughts as soon as I made that pick.

Yea my thought here too.. Really want to pick Dallas but don't see them generating any pass rush and too many weapons for SF to capitalize

Disappointing effort by Green Bay. I thought they started out with a good game plan and had success up front, but they never even attempted to challenge them down field so Seattle just closed them in. I don't get the game plan there. Their defensive front is still horrible. Worse than ever maybe and it's not just raji. No one looked ready to stop the run. 0-1 for me.

Well, all I can say is that I won a few weeks last year, and I'm pretty sure I got the Thursday night game wrong each time. I'll let the fact-checkers confirm, but I'm okay with taking risks with this game, as it seems to benefit me.
