So any of you see the comments made by Jerry Jones saying he would welcome Josh Brent, a known murderer who killed his own teammate back?

Since Brent would be a Cowboy, I'm wondering how the media will spin it on how he deserves a second chance but will write bogus articles saying Rice doesn't deserve a second chance.

He was blasted when it occured. The media and football world doesnt have this conspiracy to hate the Ravens. Its in your head. And you more so than others.

On this one, I think I have to agree with JO.   But I wouldn't call him a murderer.  The charge was DUI Manslaughter, I believe.  But the punishment will be interesting to say the least.  The media will definitely compare the two.  It's in their nature to do so... 

 

Blasted when it occurs is one thing.  Rice was blasted too...  but then when the punishment came down the whole media world went crazy and turned his "lenient punishment" into some weird conspiracy. 

 

If this kid get reinstated, after a DUI Manslaughter, the media will definitely go nuts.  It will be the next Media buzz for the NFL.

Im not sure I actually heard any reputable outlet say Rice doesnt deserve a second chance. To think that this Brent guy will be looked at differently because he's a Cowboy and Rice is a Raven is a crock and is just more of this BS conspiracy crap that so many here subscribe to. Um ok? So are we reading behind the lines because I wouldnt call him a leech or a liar, he made a statement and reported what he heard.....

I see nothing wrong with this article but then again, I don't care anymore about this stupid suspension or him hitting his wife. You know who should care at this point? Not any of you, just him, his wife and their daughter.

I don't care if Goodell didn't suspend him at all, people are all up in arms about the suspension being too short, writing to their senators, yet they don't seem to care that the ACTUAL JUDICIAL SYSTEM LET HIM GO WITHOUT A SCRATCH.
