All Positive "Rah Rah" Optimism Thread

I'd add both KO and BP to this list. If Pierce can stay healthy he can have an Alfred Morris type impact in this system. He could really become a top 10 back if not better in this offense, I have no doubt in my mind. KO is a beast. The only way he'll get proper recognition is if the running game is like top 5-10 but he definitely has pro bowl potential at LG.

I doubt BP could make, simply because Rice is gonna eat up carries. KO is very possible though.

I liked the first drive by the Offense a lot. Flacco looked comfortable and in charge of the offense. The play-calling was smart. We saw some PA and screen passes, short hitches and slants that should be high percentage throws. It's just a small pre-season sample, but it's definitely a positive.

Oh yeah, the run game looked much much better.

mosley made it clear last night why we drafted him at 17, gary kubiak may be the single greatest offseason pickup in the history of this franchise, steve smith is an underrated signing, while everyone talks about his age and lack of speed, im busy talking about how he bullies db's with his toughness and physicality and how he attacks the ball with his hands better than maybe any WR out there. im optimistic to have a healthy roster back, and to pair our feature TE with juice-check, because he didnt disappoint last night, he looked damn good. little worried about some parts of our defense, but i think we are gonna have the solid core of defenders we need to win games, we have had a "bend but dont break" defense for years now, what makes this any different? besides the fact that we have a much more talented front seven than we have had in years past.

KLM and jernigan disappointed, unless i wasnt paying close enough attention and didnt catch what they were doing, i was kinda stuffing my face and drinking quite a bit lol.

i also thought i should mention that elam looked solid, but it seems we would want him to be about 2 steps quicker in every play, so that he is MAKING big plays, instead of just preventing them, i think he will hit that stride, and i think if he played SS all last season then he would be out there shining right now, his tackling certainly looked pretty good tho.
