Here's a real easy cheezy-crab dip that you can do in a crockpot to take to tailgate.

- 2 8-oz bricks of cream cheeze (not the soft whipped stuff)

- 2 small jars of Olde English Sharp cheeze spread (you'll find it near the CheezeWhiz). I you can't find this, then you can use one small jar of CheezeWhiz, but the Olde English stuff is better).

- 1 pound fresh lump crab meat

- dash of hot sauce (or 2 dashes if you like things perky)

- juice of one lemon

- 1 tsp. onion powder

- 1 tsp. garlic powder

- 1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheeze

Melt cream cheeze and Olde English cheeze together in the microwave so that it is soft and stirrable.

While that's happening, pick over your crab meat and sprinkle it with the lemon juice, onion and garlic powders.

Stir the hot sauce into the melted cheeze then fold that together with the crab meat.

If you're doing this in a crockpot, add the grated cheddar to the mixture and gently stir in.

If you're going to do it in the oven, pour the mixture into a shallow casserole dish and spread the grated cheeze on top.

For crockpot just get it bubbly hot (probably an hour or two on high or several hours on low). You can put it on to cook before you go to bed if you're tailgating early in the morning.

If using an oven, bake at 375 degrees until bubbly and the top is slightly browned.
