Any Pro Era fans?

Checked the first page? Quite a few, myself included.

"Big Dusty" is a decent track but I loved when he spit one of the verses when he was on a UK a radio show. Flowed perfectly. Can't wait till he comes to Brighton in November.

Hip hop has been destroyed by These artists with no substance in their lyrics. I listen to early and mid 90s rap

The only modern hip-hop I like is Kendrick. GKMC was a real throw back album. I agree that most of the stuff that comes out these days is garbage, although if you dig past the mainstream there are some decent artists.

I tend to agree, not a lot in the mainstream that I enjoy, especially not like the big acts from the 90s that I did enjoy. However there are a lot of indie guys out there doing some great work rapping and often producing everything themselves. A few have broken somewhat mainstream so you may have heard them but some of my favorite artists in the genre today: Aesop Rock, Busdriver, Tyler the Creator, Childish Gambino, MF Doom, Madlib to name just a few. Was always a big fan of the lesser known Jurassic 5 and Pharcyde back in their days too.

J5 one of my all time favorites. Also a huge fan of Mos Def ( Black Star too), The Roots, Aesop Rock.

I forgot the Roots and Mos Def! I'm definitely a big fan too.

Love j5 and ozomatli first album. Saw em in concert in San Diego back in 98 at usd. Coolio was the headliner but got booed off stage after ozo killed it.

Earliest favorites were run dmc and fat boys. As a kid I couldn't go to sleep without super wolf or funky four plus one more and in the 90s it was anything from naughty by nature plus fresh prince and Jeff boom shake the room album.

My only issue with rap today is money with no struggle. A lot of artist are eating well despite talentless and they don't respect anyone that paved the way.

I like a few songs off that... I think the beats were superb.

Specifically, Devil in a new dress, Runaway and Monster.

And So Appalled. Pusha T's verse>>>>>>>>

Best album of the 10's is undoutably GKMC, with a close second to MBDTF, no others post 2009 have come close.

Can't wait for later this month.  T.I. (Paperwork: The Motion Picture) and Chris Webby (Chemically Imbalanced) release their albums on the 21st and 27th respectively.  Two of my favorite artists.

Eminem and Shady Records' Cypher that was dropped today. Good lord...

And then came Eminem..............................what else is there to say.

Can't wait to see Joey Bada$$ live for the first time next week. Gutted I'll be missing Talib Kweli because of practice though.

Not even sure I wanna try watching this while it's lagging and with the poor quality.... Would only have to wait a day or two but I'm so pumped to see Cassidy battle again. He's always been a favorite of mine.

Only saw one battle with Dizaster in it. I follow it casually, I guess. Total Slaughter wasn't as bad as this.I don't understand how they hold these events and they're always so unprofessional lol. Mics going out and all.

I looked on a battle rap forum and they say this is the most unorganized and worst events ever. So glad I didn't pay for this garbage. It's like a train wreck, I can't look away.

Edit: Absoulety horrible and disapointing. I didn't even pay and I want my money back. Cassidy wasn't doing good at all. Judging by round 1, he got lucky. Battle rappers save their best for last so who know how it would of finished. Sad for my boy though

Oh boy..... I'll wait until it comes on Youtube if it hasn't already.
