Future NFL team relocations

I think NFL should force Chargers to change their name.. Just like Art Modell wasn't allowed to take the Browns name to Baltimore with him.

Yeah always seemed like a neutral field when we played in San Diego, can't say I sympathize too much with a fan base that doesn't show up to their own games

I agree, I just think if you are gonna move to another city then it should be them in vegas and not the raiders.

I wouldn't mind a place like Oklahoma City or Portland getting a shot. Both seem to do well with their NBA franchises. I think Vegas has made a nice case for themselves though so I think they should get the Raiders. As for LA getting the Raiders, I think one of the big reasons they aren't going there is the gang concerns. I know it goes so far that some schools in the LA area ban sportswear. Plus it doesn't sound like the current Rams owner wants Raider fans streaming through his new stadium.

Man america is crazy when it comes to what motivates gangs. I think they should just stay in oakland really. I think portland would be a good spot for the chargers. Oklahoma or san antonio possibly too.

Idk but I thought out of all 3 teams that had the option St Louis fans deserved this the least. It'll be funny if the Chargers become the most popular team in LA. Kroenke's head would explode.

It would be nice if Oakland got a good stadium proposal out there like St. Louis did at least. I don't think the Raiders have much of a choice with their current stadium

Well my oakland A's share the stadium atm with them and they don't like it either. But that's no reason to relocate just because of a stadium.

Good news for the A's if the Raiders move is that they will probably get a new stadium. I am sure they aren't happy with the current stadium either though

Yeah I like the A's much more so thats good but I do have a soft spot for the raiders.

Spanos, owner of the Chargers, just really wants to go to LA. I doubt he was going to take an offer from anywhere else.

The Chargers are not welcomed in LA. During the game between the Lakers/Clippers, the Staples Center showed the Chargers logo on their big screen and the crowd booed.

They don't. They will share from 2019 when new stadium is built.

If you play in Angels Stadium or the Honda Center, you have to put the "Anaheim" in your name, such as the "Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim".  Similar to how it used to be in the Meadowlands except for the Giants and Jets, you have to have "New Jersey" as well.

In the last two years the Chargers games were on radio in LA, they got a whopping 0.0 in the ratings.

Yeah I still consider them LA teams though, plenty of examples of teams that don't play near the city they lay claim to (San Francisco, San Diego prior to move, Washington, among others) and no one cares about it

If I was the Mayor of Oakland, I'd tell them, "Don't play two Lame Duck seasons here  go play at Sam Boyd's Stadium while your playpen's being built"..
