Can we now shut up about Joe Flacco's contract?

Mine either. For pretty much the whole offseason, I was optimistic about our offense. Then topics like this starts popping up few days b4 football starts and it sucks off the fun out reading through these forums.

That's cute and all, but your previous statement is backed up by nothing but your opinion. That is a fact.

Actually its backed up by advanced stats and grades, articles, video and general agreements on strengths and weaknesses by fans of football. You can try and tear all that down but you can't say my opinion is backed up by nothing. So no actual irony there, people overuse the word these days in my opinion.

This is the problem with homerism, admitting a guy from another team is elite is worshiping. Looking for the truth in a sea of bad opinions or calling out hypocrisy in a fan community is looked down upon.

Hilarious!  Give, give, give and what’s Flacco giving us in return for such generosity?  How about some consistency….. Hmm, if we can get that from him, we may very well be on to something.   I’m hopeful!         

Well he will perform in the regular season just like he is practising in training camp. If he is consistent in training camp, expect that to carry over to the regular season. I remember in last year's training camp, he had an uncharacteristic number of INTs and that sure carried over to the season...

 

This year, we hear a lot of great things about Flacco coming out of camp, so I expect great things out of him for sure.
