AFC North ranked most unpredictable race, Ravens emerge on top.

I tend to agree. A lot of people talk about the Bengals talent because they have some superstars, but I think as a unit the Ravens may have more talent. It is just spread more, which is a good thing.

WR1 = Bengals

WR2 = Ravens

LT = Bengals

LG = Ravens (Based off of potential)

C = Wash

RG = Ravens

RT = Bengals (Unknown for Ravens)

TE1 = Ravens

TE2 = Bengals

QB = Ravens

RB = Wash

Offense = Pretty much a wash. A lot of people see AJ Green who is a superstar in this league and automatically vault the Bengals up over everyone in the AFCN; but as a whole, the talent is pretty even.

FS = Wash (Unknown for Ravens)

SS = Ravens (Based on potential)

CB1 = Ravens (Potential for Bengals w/ Dennard)

CB2 = Ravens

SAM = Wash

MIKE = Wash

WILL = Bengals (Burfict > Mosley until Mosley proves something)

LDE = Wash

LDT = Bengals

RDT = Bengals (Atkins > Ngata at this point...although injured Atkins??)

RDE = Ravens (Suggs)

Defense = Should be a wash based on talent; although last year's rankings would not tell you that. The Ravens have a slightly better secondary I think, but there are plenty of unknowns for both teams. I think the Ravens have potential for a stronger LB core of Upshaw/Dum-Smith-Mosley/Brown and soon to be Upshaw-Mosley-Brown; but currently it is a wash - or slightly leaning towards the Bengals with how well Vontaze played last year. The D Line is similar to the LBs. I would give the Bengals the slight edge, but Baltimore has some potential to be great w/ KLM/Urban-Williams-Ngata/Jernigan-Suggs/McPhee.

I agree with you on WR 1,but I think Marvin Jones is better than Steve Smith at this point in their careers.I also think that Owen Daniels is better than Eifert.Tyler Eifert has yet to really solidify his place in the league yet.Owen Daniels on the other hand was just voted to the pro bowl a few months before his injury.With the RB's,Ray Rice is still way better than any runningback on their roster so we automatically win that comparison.And as far as safties go,Daniel Manning > Elam.If the shoe was on the other foot I wouldn't call their guy better than ours just because of potential so I have to give that to them.The only way we win the FS comparison is if Will Hill comes back week 6 or 7 and is the same caliber player he was in New York.You can't go player for player in the front seven because we use two different defenses.We play some 4-3 but we're really a 3-4  defense and we're built like one.As an entire group our linebackers are flat out better.It's no contest.They have Burfict and that's it.Melaluga(idk if I spelled that right) is alot worst than his stats say he is.He misses tackles and gets beat in coverage alot.Bengals fans HATE that guy.I'll give them the D-line though.You're right,Atkins is alot better than Ngata is and Dunlap is better than Canty.I'm just expecting them to have some drop off as a group with Atkins coming back from an injury,Michael Johnson being in Tampa and Zimmer being gone.I think Zimmer made those guys look alot better than they really were with his schemes.That guy should've got a head coaching job YEARS ago.

losing mike zimmer is a huge deal, his defensive scheme gave joe flacco headaches in his younger years, remember the 4-int game he had against them? that was his scheming of the cover-2 and it ate our passing game alive sometimes

Exactly, I'm not sold on continuity for the bengals. I believe they are the most physically talented team by far, top 5 even, but i just don't see them getting over the hump and winning the division this year. I believe only one AFC North team gets in just like last year, the division just isn't the same. We all run the ball and play defense and beat the fool out of each other and that's the reason I see the AFC south and WEST supplying the wildcards. They have punching bags over there, we don't. The Ravens are just too hungry and too focused to miss the playoffs 2 years in a row, or even 2 years in 5 years would be stunning. Dalton just isn't good enough in my eyes, he holds the passing game back and they will never get better unless his throwing power increases or his deep accuracy gets a lot better.

The football pundits have been saying this for the last 3 years. The Bengals have the best talent, the Bengals have the best talent, the Bengals have he best talent. YEAH RIGHT! What has having the "best talent" gotten Cincy..what? 0 and freaking 5...FIVE!!! in the playoffs! Best talent my A#s!

You are confusing physical talent with smarts, with coaching, with toughness, with perseverance, with heart, with RESULTS. The most talented teams in any sports don't usually win it all. The spurs beat the heat, Ghana got embarrassed. the A's always choke in the playoffs. Talent isn't everything.

This is the hardest division to predict. I can see any one of the 4 teams winning the division. Yes even the Browns. You have to take into account that before the injury B. Hoyer was 3-0 and playing very well. Cleveland's defense is good and will keep them in games. But if I had to pick a division winner it would be

Bengals

Ravens

Browns

Steelers

I think the NFC south is the hardest to predict(its a toss up between the Saints and the Bucs), I can't see the browns or Steelers winning this year and I see the Bengals having to win the last game of the season to win the division as their only way into the playoffs and choking. I think this will be the most physical division by far and we will beat up on each other but I don't the the others playing well outside the AFC North like we can. Unfortunately I also think the great Marvin Lewis is on his way out, the bengals just don't have IT, that key thing the Ravens,Giants, and Steelers have shown in clutch situations come playoff time.

People always talk about talent with the Bengals but they're young and not ready. Besides even if they win the division get ready for an early playoff exit.

The Bengals will have their time , but its not now.

That loss brought to you by Brandon Weeden!

Hoyer started the two games after that and played less than 5 minutes into the third game he "won" against Buffalo, Weeden took over for him and won that game but Hoyer still gets credited because he started.

remember he didn't start last season.

But he was 3-0 last year before he got hurt. His first game was week 3 against the Vikings

Your right about the Buffalo game so I'll just give him 2.5 wins then....lol

I've heard the stat all the time discussing Hoyer, it's technically correct though

I think the hardest to predict is the NFC Le...... I mean NFC East. In that 3-team division, the Skins, Giants, and Eagles are always going at each other. Is Foles the real deal? How about RG3? Can the Giants make the playoffs again or will there be more changes? That's just my opinion.

I don't respect the Skins or the Giants as real contenders. Chip Kelly's Eagles will walk out the winner barring a significant injury or two. That's a close but one team division, the NFC South is going to put a wildcard team in along with the NFC West.

I cannot wait to have a bet on the Ravens to win this division. Bengals and Steelers at shorter odds, and I don't understand it in either case.
