Training Camp Comments, Questions and Concerns

Ravens are patient with their DBs; Brooks was never expected to start and Harbs/Spags will give him time to learn. No reason to get pessimistic about Brooks on day 3 of TC.

Go Ravens

Just left the first contact practice, Chykie ISNT our #3 corner, he's just not ready. deji olatoye on the other hand looked pretty good. Timmy Jernigan got hurt mid practice but was able to come back. Pierce left early due to injury. Webb didn't practice but he was on the sidelines.

And one last thing...

Can we address the fact that Arthur Brown still has cornrows?  I can't tell you the last time I've seen someone rock cornrows.

Besides the NBA Finals MVP.

I don't watch the NBA, but I hope that he takes crap for still having cornrows as well lol

Why is it that every time I check Twitter, I see "(Insert player name here) beats Chykie Brown for a TD/deep pass/etc."  That's concerning.

#Ravens CB Chykie Brown continues to get beat deep in training camp. He hasn't looked good while filling in for Lardarius Webb (back).

Steve Smith made a long leaping catch down the right sideline with Chykie Brown covering him

Jacoby Jones beat Chykie Brown for a long touchdown catch

I'm trying to remember that Jimmy and Lardarius are the guys back there...

Considering almost half of the snaps there will be a third guy back there and chykie is the front runner is concerning

Yeah, we're gonna miss Corey Graham bad this season.

Anyone hear anything on Jernigan?

I've heard he's been very impressive.  Constantly getting into the backfield.

Well Pierce deleted that tweet and blocked Jamison Hensley lol

Not a fan of what essentially amounts to whining.

Pierce should just delete his account altogether

The way we used our #3 CB in the paat, Corey typically has more responsibility than Jimmy/Webb do. The guy did a ton of everything.

That and losing Teryl Austin... We got to really step it up this season.

I surmise that it may have had to do with the profanity???  All reports are saying he's not hurt...

Part of it was just Chykie being the unlucky target. Our offense was on fire today. Receivers are really going after the ball and frequently catching it. Ray Rice looks totally rejuvenated. The speed and effort are back.

Gary Kubiak said that Ryan Jensen will be moved inside and the RT job is between Rick Wagner and Jah Reid. #Ravens

So basically Wagner has the job lol

Yeah RB might he our top need next year and I'm an advocate for a WR. I'd love Gurley or Gordon(not you Gordy. Shut up). Pierce has the talent just not the durability.

*ozzie drafts TJ Yeldon*

Then way things are shaping out, I would say CB and a young pass rusher will be high on the board.

Of those 3, I don't mind any of them at RB. Yeldon wouldn't be a bad pick really, Gurley is a stud, Gordon has really nice explosiveness.

Keep an eye on #11, Kamar Aiken. He was getting open and catching everything anywhere near him. Ozzie might try to stash him somewhere for next year.

I've heard good things about Campanaro, Thompson, Jeremy Butler and Marlon Brown as well. It looks like there's good WR depth on the team. Much better than last year.

Ugh..I dont understand why Jah Reid keeps getting 1st/2nd team reps. His a waste of time! Please let's move on!

I'm not sure why we ever put him at G. I'm hoping that moving back to his more natural T position will help. It may be a little too late, but I do think he can be better on the outside of the line.

Yes, all true, especially Brown and Companaro. Brown is much more than just a redzone guy. Showed good range today. Has more speed than I thought.

I'm going to be so upset if they cancel practice tomorrow because of the rain. I won that nice little contest on here. I'd love to be able to see guys myself and form judgment.

Seeing with your own eyes is the best!

What time is camp tomorrow? The later it is, the greater the chance of storms.

I won it too. Couldn't we all just move indoors. :D

4pm of course. Hoping it holds off. It would be so draining to win and not be able to go lol
