Or Myles

I think you'd get him first. :P

Looks like next year's draft will be really deep for PFs and Cs, so it's probably not a bad position to have as the worst on your roster.

That it has. Same here. I had to double take on that number when I first saw it that year. Can you believe that John Wall shot 7.1% in his 66 starts a few seasons ago? Both are in the thirties now.

Wow I didn't know that. Wall only made three threes that entire year that season, that's crazy. To put that into perspective, the lowest Rondo ever made was 5, and only on 19 shots (Wall took 42).

This is where I would post a gif of Philip Seymour Hoffman playing basketball in Along Came Polly.

That's a bizarre occurrence. I'm a fan of Wall, but to compare poorly to Rondo's worst outputs from beyond the arc is never a positive feat. That being said, I'm glad that Wall has taken a few steps forward in working on his perimeter shot. He's made it known that it was a goal of his and I feel that he's on the right track. With his athleticism and ability as a distributor, developing his jump shot further would make him even more dangerous on the offensive end.

-Truth-

PG: Jrue Holiday, D.J. Augustin, Kendall Marshall

SG: Paul George, Gerald Henderson

SF: Jeff Green, Wilson Chandler

PF: Al Horford, Brandan Wright

C: Tim Duncan, Larry Sanders, Chris Kaman

This is the literal definition of a team. It's built as a unit and not around an individual.

George: he's a very good player. Hell, he's great. He's a great athlete and a good scorer. He fell off a bit in the second half but is still an elite talent.

EDIT: sorry. You're no longer the favorites post injury. Losing George is a huge blow.

Al Hordford: A very strong PF. Good rebounder and scorer. Not much is provided defensively but that won't be much of a problem with Duncan and Sanders.

Holiday: Coming off of an injury but is not an injury prone player. He's a potential perennial all star and does EVERYTHING at a high level. Score, facilitate, defend. He seemed to hesitate a bit when attack the basket. But is a good player.

Jeff Green: A solid player. Above average even. He does a bit of everything.

Duncan:...... Do I need an explanation for what he brings?

DJ Augistine: Just in case Holliday goes down again you needed a good back, and that DJ is. Not only that but he's good 3 point shot..

Larry Sanders: he may be a bonehead but he's an elite defender and decent on the boards. He's a defensive force for you.

Overall: One of the more balanced teams here. It has the right amount of young talent, vet experience, and star power. It's good defensively and offensively. And because of it, I could see it winning a title.

Thank you for the positive review. I agree with practically everything except for the assessment of Al Horford's defense. He's easily an above average defender as has been at least solid for years in that department. The Paul George injury is devastating because he won't be on the floor with Duncan. I will still have Larry Sanders next season, but the five of Holiday, George, Green, Horford and Duncan would've been a stronger unit. I would likely have Henderson and Wilson rotate in at SG/SF for the first year. Perhaps acquire Jared Dudley for depth purposes. Most of the players are capable of scoring from either the mid-range or beyond the arc, which should help with spacing. Duncan, Horford and Kaman are viable low-post scorers. I've centered my team on having solid defenders at every level. There is still athleticism and finishing ability without George, but it'd obviously be crippled for the first season. I would expect Holiday and Marshall to be able to utilize the cutters, which would make the most out of Green. Overall, I'm very happy with this unit. The injury to George is a severe blow, but there is enough talent to be competitive without him in the line up, and enough youth in that it won't be a wasted season, though the future loss of Duncan will be a disappointing one.

NFLFAN'S WHATEVER TEAM

PG: Rajon Rondo

SG: Lance Stephenson

SF: Rudy Gay

PF: JJ Hickson

C: DeMarcus Cousins

Backups:

PG Shaun Livingston, Devin Harris
SG Avery Bradley, Jordan Crawford
SF Michael Kidd Gilchrist, PJ Tucker
PF Harrison Barnes, Channing Frye
Tyson Chandler, Lucas Nogueira

Built around :

Rondo- One of the best two way guards in the NBA defensively and offensively skilled. Not many are better at facilitating. Not the ideal scorer, but the perfect dude to run his team.

Stephenson- He's the same defensively, but offensively he's better than Rondo. A very good option on the two.

Gay- Good scorer, but not very efficient. But he will put up his points. He was overrated on Toronto, but was much better statistically on Sac.

Hickson-The weak link on the lineup. Not that he's bad, but he's not as good as everyone else. He's good on the boards, and is a solid scorer.

Cousins- A beast defensively and becoming better offensively. Easily a top 3 center

Bench: Mainly defensive. Which is mainly what the team is .

Overall: Mainly a defensive team, though it does have it's guys who can light it up... One of the best teams because of it. The offense won't be elite but will be very effective. Which is all you can really ask for.

This is one of if not my favorite team in this game. The best C in the NBA, the best passer in the NBA, an explosive scorer coming off of his best year in Rudy Gay, a fringe all star in Lance, and tons of defensive players. Bench scoring kind of a concern, but Bradley's offense keeps getting better and better, Barnes and Livingston are capable offensive players, and he's got a few guys like Frye, Harris, and Crawford who can be put in just for offense.

Thanks for the positive reviews guys. Defense wins championships hence why I went in that direction.

I could see you winning it. So much better than last year
