Hundley to replace that overpaid bum we have at QB lol ;)

In all seriousness my first guess would probably be Strong but I don't know the rosters well enough to say anything more than that. I am sure Gabe would have some ideas on the UCLA side at least

NFL.com lists LBs Myles Jack and Eric Kenricks, OL Jamil Douglas and RB DJ Foster (as well as Strong obviously). It'd be encouraging if we were looking at Strong, because at least it'd mean we were doing due diligence on the WR position. Although from the sounds of things, Jaelen himself wouldn't be too happy.

Can't say I am too surprised lol, just keeps tearing it up for Nebraska although he will have a nice test next week going against a tough Michigan State defense

Man, there are a couple of nice-looking games next week. Hopefully ESPN gets coverage of that one.

Yeah next week is probably going to be the biggest week of the year so far. Should be some interesting games, especially in the SEC

Yeah I am sure there are plenty of players to look at. That could be fun to try to figure out although it could go many different directions. Also why wouldn't Strong be happy, did he say something in particular?

I was just under the impression he had an average outing - didn't he let the CB pluck the ball out of his hands for a pick? For a guy who's supposed to be from the Boldin/Fitzgerald tree, that's something you really don't want to see.

Ameer Abdullah with another 200 yard game.

He's looking fantastic. I definitely think we should keep an eye on him in the draft. He would be a terrific replacement for Rice depending on where we would draft him.

Lol a lot of time outs all of a sudden

Mizzou with the upset, another team winning for most of the game only to lose at the end

I saw much of that Mizzou-South Carolina game, and I began to believe that Mizzou could pull it off - which they did!

Yeah the corner on him did a pretty solid job overall, Strong had some nice plays and did have 12 receptions but he had that one play and I didn't see him really take over the game or anything. To be fair everyone makes mistakes with the ball but that one stood out to me a bit. Should be interesting to see where he goes from here.

Yeah that was a fun game, a few good ones yesterday

Time for my 4 playoff teams of the week and this time I will put them in order as we are starting to know these teams a bit better.

In:

#1: Oklahoma: As the football season has gone on, it has become pretty clear that no college football team has been dominant this year. We have seen some good games for stretches like UCLA vs. ASU but then a lot of teams have had some off games as well. They all seem to be beatable this year. So my logic here is to go with the team with the least amount of question marks and right now that is Oklahoma. They did well in beating Tennessee at home convincingly and then also went against a talented WVU team on the road and did pretty well. They will eventually face a really tough Baylor team although this week could be interesting going to an undefeated TCU team in what could be an interesting match-up. The big thing that gives Oklahoma the edge over the #2 team however is beating WVU on the road as opposed to a "neutral site" and a certain win in the Sugar Bowl last year.

#2: Alabama: Yeah I pretty much gave this away with that last sentence lol. I am not quite sold on Alabama but right now they are the team with the least amount of question marks in the SEC. Some teams are closer than others to Alabama but right now they are my top team for the SEC and I will get into why once we get to those other teams. Should be a big matchup for them this weekend against Ole Miss however on the road.

#3: Oregon: This was close between Oregon and UCLA but I decided to go with Oregon just barely due to the win against MSU. Not like it matters that much however since we will find out who the better team is next week anyways. Tough matchup tonight against a very talented Arizona team before UCLA next week so it should be interesting.

#4: FSU: O-line and secondary were supposed to be two of the strongest parts of the team but both positions have had their struggles. I think FSU is a playoff team at this point but I need to see more from them for them to get higher up there. They play Wake this week before Syracuse and then Notre Dame which will be the next big test for them.

Out(for now): No specific order yet for here but in a couple weeks that will probably change.

UCLA: It was really close between them and Oregon but it won't matter if UCLA takes care of business. This is an interesting game this week against Utah since UCLA could be looking ahead but I think the bigger test is Oregon. It is at home for UCLA however so that always helps.

Auburn: They are probably my second best SEC team right now, they had their struggles against Kansas State which knocks them down a little but are still in good position for now. They do have a big game against LSU this week but at least it is at home.

Baylor: They have been very solid but the problem is they haven't played anyone of note yet. Texas is an upgrade there and it should be interesting to see how they do there. Hopefully both Baylor and Oklahoma are undefeated when they play eachother.

Texas A&M: They drop a bit after the Arkansas game. They were able to sneak out the win but it was pretty clear Arkansas had their number. They still are in good position however and it is a good sign to see they can snatch a win like that. Big game against Missisippi State but I think they match up a bit better here although it is on the road.

Missisippi State: That LSU game was impressive but now we can see if they can beat A&M at home. They have had 2 weeks to prepare for it so that is always a plus.

Ole Miss: They are a very talented team but they are unproven. This week will be the big test for them at home against Alabama.

Notre Dame: They are doing well so far this year, they should have a test against Stanford this week in what should be a good game.

Michigan State: They have done well the past couple weeks, they have a nice challenge against Nebraska and once some of these other teams start losing you might see them start climbing back up the rankings a bit.

Undefeated Teams: I am going to add this section now to address the undefeated teams. Basically these teams are ones to watch as potential playoff teams but they haven't done quite enough to be legitimate contenders like the ones listed above. These are in no particular order.

Georgia Tech: Their last game was a win against the Hokies in Blacksburg, now they get into the conference schedule a bit more with Miami, Duke and North Carolina these next 3. The big games will be the final 4 however with UVA, NC State, Clemson, and UGA all in a row.

TCU: They have a game against Oklahoma this weekend and a game against Baylor next week and then Oklahoma State next week. If they manage to pull it off, they will probably be mentioned with the other teams above.

Nebraska: The only undefeated team in the BIG 10, they will be tested this week against Michigan State in what should be a good game.

Arizona: They have a tough test against Oregon tonight so we will see if they can get past that this week but they are a very talented group.

BYU: They are chugging along and could be a potential playoff spoiler. I am not sold on them right now and they have a pretty easy schedule but if they win out and chaos ensues in the power 5 conferences then they have a chance.

Marshall: They are a pretty decent team and have a talented offense but the problem for them also is the schedule. So far though they have been pretty convincing in their wins and if they run the table they are going to be in the discussion as well.

Games to watch: This is shaping up to be the biggest week of college football so far this year so since the games from top to bottom are going to be so good, I will break down who the top 20 are all playing this week.

#1 FSU vs. Wake Forest: This is one of the few games this week that won't be one to watch with all the other games on this week.

#2 Oregon vs. Arizona: Arizona is still undefeated and a borderline top 25 team right now so this should be a nice test for both teams tonight. Sadly it starts at 10:30 Eastern time but at least that gives me the opportunity to watch the O's before it starts.

#3 Alabama @ #11 Ole Miss: This is going to be a big test for both sides. Ole Miss at home has a chance as they are a very talented team but we have heard that for years now. It is time to see if Ole Miss can really make some noise this year or if this will just be another disappointing year for them.

#4 Oklahoma @ #25 TCU: This should be a fun one with TCU at home although Oklahoma is going to be the favorite here. Going to be a big test for TCU.

#5 Auburn vs. #15 LSU: This should be a fun one Saturday night as LSU was the only team to beat Auburn in the regular season last year. I would go Auburn but LSU is going to have a lot to prove coming off the loss to Mississippi State so it should be good. Speaking of Mississippi State...

#6 Texas A&M @ #12 Mississippi State: This will be a big game for both sides. Mississippi State is out to show the LSU win wasn't a fluke, A&M has a lot to prove as well though so hopefully we get a good game.

#7 Baylor @ Texas: This one could get interesting, I think Texas is a pretty decent team but I am probably rolling Baylor here. Still could get interesting so I will probably check in when I can as it is a decent test for Baylor.

#8 UCLA vs. Utah: Utah is 3-1 and that one loss is by one to Washington State. I don't think they are great but Utah did knock Stanford off last year and UCLA could be looking ahead. With that said, I expect UCLA to take care of business here although it may not be quite as impressive as Arizona State was.

#9 Notre Dame vs. #14 Stanford: We finally get a decent test for undefeated Notre Dame. It is at home and Stanford doesn't appear like themselves this year but they are going to come out fighting I am sure as it is a big rivalry for both schools. Stanford is the favorites as well by 2 just to throw that out there.

#10 Michigan State vs. #19 Nebraska: This will be a fun match-up. You have Ameer Abdullah going against that tough MSU defense and we can figure out just how good he really is. But there should be plenty more than that to keep you entertained as well. I know Crush will be watching lol

#13 Georgia vs. Vanderbilt: This one is looking like a win for Georgia but Vanderbilt could keep it somewhat entertaining. Being on at the same time as Alabama-Ole Miss, Texas A&M-Miss State, Stanford-Notre Dame, and Oklahoma-TCU however means I won't see much of this if any.

#16 USC vs. Arizona State: This should be a pretty entertaining game as well. I am probably going for USC here as it puts them in position to battle UCLA for the PAC 12 South which would be awesome but Arizona State is going to be motivated after the loss they had from UCLA.

#17 Wisconsin @ Northwestern: Should be a Wisconsin win but Northwestern did just get an impressive win against Penn State last week so you never know.

#20 Ohio State @ Maryland: Maryland is better than a lot of people think but is Maryland better than Ohio State? Should be interesting to find out and could provide an entertaining noon game.

This excessive celebration rule needs to go. Guy makes a huge play on 3rd&goal with a game tied 5 min to go. How do you not celebrate? He clearly didn't do anything disrespectful.

To be fair, Arizona had a similar penalty called on them earlier. Still don't like either call but it is PAC 12 refs lol

Amazing win by Arizona.  Beating Oregon two times in a row is something to be proud of.  As if Michigan fans season couldn't get any worse, it did with Rich Rod beating the #2 team in the nation.

In Nebraska related news, Mariota losing is big for Ameer Abdullah's Heisman hopes.

Tough first loss for BYU and with their injuries it doesn't look like they are going to be competing for a playoff spot after this. This leaves Notre Dame, Marshall, and East Carolina as the big guys outside the Power 5 with a realistic chance of making it right now.
