Baseball Complaints Thread-merged

I want to talk about something in Baseball that clearly irritates me and why the game of Baseball is very unappealing : Mound visits!

First of all mound visits clearly show unsportmanship. When your pitcher is in trouble you let him figure out on his own how to bail himself out of trouble!

The couch should sit his butt in the dugout and let the pitcher figure it out!

The main reason why is that who knows if the coach is cheating or not! He sees the game and could be spying on the other team. I say I would be right 70% of the time that teams like the White Sox tend to cheat and give "Illegal Information" on the other team, which is clearly ruining the game.

Another reason why coaches should not be able to visit the mound is that it kills the momentum of the game. In a sense mound visits are considered cheating in my mind! The Orioles seemed to loose momentum everytime they have runners on and ready to score.

Lastly it slows the game down! I have seen numerous complaints about the game slowing down and I agree with that and mound visits slow the game and overall give Baseball a bad vibe!

Mound visits should be limted to pitching changes and that's it.

Mound visits condone cheating which there is already enough off in Baseball!

Let get rid of them.

How to make theboring game of Baseball go by faster:

1). Mound Visits ONLY to change pitchers and Not to strategize. Or else coach and/player gets ejected with the possibility of suspension!

2), Ptichers have 7 seconds to throw a pitch or else they are penalizedc with a Ball Count. ( Yes just like a 24 sec shot clock in the NBA )

And

3). Pitchers are limited to 2 pick off attempts per at bat.

Edit: Sorry I meant Baseball *Thread* Moderator please correct my spelling if you can.

I know you have good intentions with this suggestion, but if you have ever pitched before, you would know that it takes more than 7 seconds to get your sign, check on the runner, and then go through the pitching motion.
