2015 Draft a Franchise (NBA): Discussion.

I love Leonard as a player, but there are so many better players on the board. I think the last two NBA finals performances have made him look way better than he is. He's a great defender and a solid third, maybe second option at best on offense. He is very efficient when he's on the floor, but I also think that a lot of it is owed to the Spurs' system. Maybe in a few years I'll be proved wrong but that's my opinion.

Definitely understand your view on Leonard. Is he a top 18 player in the NBA right now? No. But with SF's going heavy early (LeBron, KD, PG, Melo) Leonard was the guy I wanted to guard them (hypothetically, of course). I just love his all around game, as he can impact the game in many ways. I knew their would be quality point guards available my next pick (Lillard, Rondo, Lowry, Tony Parker), so I reached for Leonard. And I don't believe he was going to be there come my pick in round 3.

Had to take because of age...

Really wanted a different big man though that was just a beast last year and carried my fantasy team

Tough passing on those other two players but Beal is going to be something special.

Nice pick. One of the best young building blocks in the league.

I wouldn't have taken Beal at this spot but he might not have made it back to you if you really wanted him

He wouldn't have made it back.

Damn well at least we had great progress today

We may continue. Sizzlebshu is in the Draft thread. I'm assuming he's pondering over the choices.
