feel better brosive.

and I think i've earned myself most improved drafter award, the first time i've been in ANYONES top 10 lol. I'm normally in the bottom 10

Thank you.... I don't usually get sick(ask nflfan. I haven't missed a day of school in 2 years), but when I do. It's horrible lol.

I liked the team'a scoring ability. It does it well.

Tell you what. If you want an honest opinion of your team before I make it public. Hmu with a Pm

I didn't want to play the "feel sorry for me card" but I'm stuck in bed all day sick. My immune system is literally crippled ATM. And because I can't sleep at night anymore. I need sleeping pills to go with my Meds already. Meaning the few hours a day I'm awake, I'm bored out of my mind and have nothing else I can physically do.

What else can I do? Why I started early, and I said id update them as I went along. Because depth can help, it will stop an official ranking of the teams, but I'm reviewing the core and what the team is built around. 3 pieces of depth won't change a philosophy. It'll stall overall power rankings, but I think it's fair at this point to start reviewing the nba teams. I'm reviewing philosophy more than anything else. The core of a team.

I'm sorry to hear that and I hope that you feel better. Although boredom isn't the best excuse. There are quite a few activities available indoors to keep somebody occupied for hours.

I disagree. At this point, there are players that can alter the core. For example, if my current main pieces were short on rebounding, or three point shooting, and I select a player who helps specifically in that area, I then strengthen the core. So they can very much change the philosophy. It is entirely your decision though. But if you can reserve your assessment of my team until a round or two from now, it'd be appreciated.

Thank you... It sucks to be sick

As a nice guy. I'll honor your request... I'll release them all to the public when it's over

That it does, and I hope you feel better soon.

I appreciate that. Though I seem to be the only one thus far with a strong opinion, so if you're anxious to release the rankings for the teams that don't mind, be my guest.

There is an abundance of talent, but none of these remaining guys will make or break the final teams for my rankings... My top 5 teams are going to stay the same regardless of the men taken because of how their primary players are set... Injuries do happen, but I highly doubt that they'll take out an entire starting 5.

Oh and btw. Top 5 teams in no particular order

Appreciate the top 10 ranking. Didn't think I was disadvantaged by picking last, since I had the luxury of being the first GM to pick two players. If Rose can return to health and form though, I reckon I should be able to crack the top 5.

Take care of yourself and get well.

Yikes, feel better. Thanks for the top 5 too. If I was doing rankings I would hardly consider the last 3 players as well, but it's up to you whether you want to post them or not.

Small update in that KDUBB44 is still one selection behind, so the autoskip is in effect for him and ravensnick. Can I have the non-participating members from hereon in make it known in this thread so that they aren't given a time frame?

I'll be going to the full 15

No surprise there. Good on you. Same here. Where do you stand on the time limit? Should we keep it at 24 hours given that the participation is voluntary meaning that it should theoretically move faster than it has recently? Or should we shorten down the time frame just in case?

Still plenty of good players left to choose from.  I would say limit it to 12 hours.  The process is voluntary and the 12 hours has worked well in the NFL DaF.

Exactly that. Some of them would challenge for an active spot on a regular basis too. I agree on the time limit. Unless we have any objections, we should proceed with that.

Went with Mike Miller and JaVale McGee.  Miller is a favorite of LeBron and offers good perimeter shooting off the bench.  Good fit for my 12th man.  Plus he is from SD and the few of us need to stick together.  McGee is a complete unknown, but as a reserve, I see no harm.  If he figures it out it is a big plus so I think he is worth the risk.

I don't even know who I'm picking anymore.

You are up again.

Yeah sorry about the long delay. It was a busy afternoon, I didn't get a chance to check in.

No apologies needed. You're typically very fast in getting your picks in.

Also, like the Mcgee pick. He's not a guy who puts up a ton of stats, but he's fairly young and is always improving despite his knucklehead reputation. Good value.

Solid pick in McGee. Geving is now on the clock.

If we're operating by 12 hours time spans, then gabefergy would be on the clock. But I'm not sure whether he or stm85 are planning on continuing.
