2015 Draft a Franchise (NBA): Discussion.

The pick is in. I had another player ready to go initially, but I just couldn't pass up Brandan Wright's uncommon athleticism and efficiency. He was outstanding as a finisher in the P&R, in transition and on offensive rebounds. He's also developed a decent jumper and his defense improved last season. He was played at the five more than he should have, which didn't help the matters. He's likely reached his ceiling, but he won't be more than a reserve. With he and Kendall Marshall coming off the bench, the two could make for a dangerous P&R combination.

Good pick. Wright has turned out to be a pretty solid player in  Dallas.

Thank you, and I agree.

I actually really like the Evan Turner pick

I traded him in fantasy right before he went to the Pacers and started sucking, move of the year for me besides picking up Lance and Deandre in FA in the first week

This draft is coming together very nicely (as it should with so few people). 95% of the teams look great in one aspect or another, very difficult to pick out a top group.

I agree. I almost think it wouldn't be fair to select a "top group" of teams, just because I believe their are many good teams in this mock.

Just wanted to make sure I got McBuckets. At the very least his floor is a Kyle Korver, and if the rest of his game translates to the pro's he will be a force.

Good pick with Doug.

A little late

I hate hate HATE to do this Gabe... I disagree with the pick.

I understand the pros here. Lavine's upside is INSANE. If he reaches 60% of his ceiling he'll be an nba superstar who's a threat to go off for 40 on any given night. He's got Russel Westbrook athletic ability. He's a freak.

That being said, he's an atrocious defender. And has an inconsistent jumpshot to boot if you watched every game. He dissapeared at times. He needs to bulk up, big time especially for a 2 who can play the 3. He's a big time project and a big time risk(everyone: HYPOCRITE. You took a chance on Barr).

Granted, he is your 11th player so I can't be one to judge too much. But he's gonna suck his rookie year. Big time...

For the record, I think that Adams will also bust as well. Anderson will be a good player in Popovich's system, but Adams will be nothing more than a 3 point specialist in the NBA. He's not athletic enough to play the 2 and not strong enough to play the 3. Oh, and while he did get steals, he's not a good defender either.

Lavine just gets to sit and learn from Russ and Bledsoe. It's the perfect situation for him. There is no need for him to see important minutes with Manu and Lin coming off the bench to play the guard positions. After a couple years of growing into his body he will be another beast.

I'm really deep in the front court now but I couldn't pass up on Okafor at this point of the draft

Went with Anthony Bennett. I think he still has some upside. Don't think people should be calling him a bust yet. He's still young(only 21) and raw. Playing behind Blake should help him. Won't see many minutes. Could be a nice future trade piece if anything. Added some depth.

I'm interested to see how he plays next season after his disappointing rookie season.

You're going to die Gordon.

Also. Nick Markakis sucks so much. He's the worst player on the Os and it's not even close. My god he's terrible. He's nothing compared to Adam Jones

I think he'll show a lot of progression. Especially if he's playing next to LeBron.

I'm in the minority but if I'm the Cavs GM, I wouldn't trade him & Wiggins for Love. I think they should just stay put and ride it out with them. I'm a believer in both succeeding, especially Wiggins. LeBron is the best mentor possible for both players.

Feeling froggy? Leap then, Samuel!!

Most overrated team in the NBA the last 3 years? By far the Memphis Grizzlies. So tired of people/media hyping them up. If only they had Russell Westbrook when they were actually decent. Probably a dynasty were talking about.

The more I think of it, the more it seems Joe Montana was an overrated system QB. Now, Colin Kaepernick on the other hand, there's a living legend.

Looks like I'll have to send my board in to someone. Who wants the picks?
