I am and I was hoping he'd make it to me even though I knew it would never happen. It's a great pick. He's 21 and already a top 5 player. He'll be a perennial MVP candidate sooner rather than later.

Btw, think my core of Melo, Davis, Duncan, and Conley would have won it all last year?

Oh yea you're the [profanity deleted] that stole Conley from me

.., are we really arguing Kevin Durant lebron

Not arguing who is better, arguing who you'd build around long term. It's a legitimate question given the age difference and the enormous leap Durant took this year.

No it's not. You build around lebron as long as you think he has 5 good years left. There's no guarantee either resigns after that period ( a max nba contract)

I think your team was definitely among the best. My team was extremely well rounded though with Rondo, LA, Klay Thompson, Kyle Lowry, Jimmy Butler, and Marcin Gortat. I also had excellent depth.

I think I pegged yours as the best at the time. Definitely still top notch even a year later.

It's definitely the best. Anthony Davis, Melo, and Duncan is quite a frontcourt

That's a fantastic team. It doesn't have the star power mine did but it's considerably deeper. Dudley was my 5th starter but probably would have ceded his job to Brandon Knight. Ilyasova struggled last year and was supposed to be my top sub but I'll chalk that up injuries and playing on a horrible team.

That's a fair point, I wasn't really looking at it in terms of max contract length, more in the sense of 10-12 years of Durant vs 6-8 of LeBron. In that scenario I'd rather have Durant by a very slim margin, in the one you mentioned LeBron gets it running away.

Weak sauce picking @ 13. At least I can still dramatically steal more of codizzle's coveted players. :P

My team from last year would've made a good underdog run, but eventually lose in a conference finals game. I'll accept that lol.

Parker - Beal - Leonard - Deandre Jordan was my core. Also had Tony Allen, Mike Dunleavy, & a bunch of average Forwards.

I have one guy I'd take ahead of Curry

However Curry is an incredible guy to build around, an all around elite offensive player

Several others i considered, but Curry was the best IMO.

Lets see if Geving decides to take the same player that he took at #3 last year.

Pretty good chance, he's a fan of that team

I'll be online until the UVA Vandy baseball game is over, but if I'm not up by then can someone take my top 3?

He's better than Mike Conley bro

I could make a big argument that based off price in real life and pick selection in this draft that he isn't but I'm not truth
