2015 Draft a Franchise (NBA): Discussion.

Only concern for me is his injury, but he's still one of the top offensive and very very good defensive centers in the league.

My whole board got wiped out, but I really really wanted Horford

Same here, and it's a notable concern given that's torn his pectoral two seasons ago as well. Agreed on what he provides. I might switch him to the position he's hoped to see more time at, that being PF, but it certainly helps that he's played and excelled at Center.

Sorry to hear that. Fortunately, you're only a pick away and there are still some very good players available.

Thank you, between Millsap, Carmelo and DeRozan I have a core of athleticism that should be able to defend and score with anyone.

Good pick with Millsap. But I don't think you're getting much defense from either of the three. That's arguably the biggest liability with each of them. They'll definitely be able to score and provide athleticism, however.

I've been really tempted to take Millsap but I figured a combo and him and love would be a disaster defensively

Great pick in your case though

lol Paul is an average at best defender but I believe Carmelo to be a very solid defender. As well as DeRozan. Carmelo even guards the post well when isolated. But I won't be holding anyone under 80 haha

Ha. You taking Conley earlier. Conley sucks so much and it was WAY too early. Only a total moron would take him earlier than this ;)

A lota thin. That's another reason why Beal is so valuable to me. He can play the point when needed.

I agree on Anthony's post defense, and I think the latter two have improved defensively. Time will tell whether that becomes a trend. Perhaps I overstated my comment. I just wouldn't go as far as saying that they can defend with anybody.

Damn, good pick in CP25

Haha thanks. I think Parsons is an underrated player. He's a very good shooter and he does a lot of little things to help the team win.

That he is, and with his dependable outside shooting, he's a good complement to your backcourt offensively.

My only question is why he was still on the board

I assume it's because of his deficiencies. He's arguably one of the best facilitators in the NBA, there's no question there. But he hasn't managed to develop as a perimeter shooter, which would make him a bigger threat offensively than he currently is. He obviously has a knack for coming up with loose balls and steals, but his defense is average to below average otherwise. With a complement of viable scorers and on-the-ball defenders, he'll make for a solid piece.
