It's annoying that he always takes so long, but I don't see anything that can be done about it. I find it hard to believe he is purposefully waiting just to frustrate everyone, and even if he is there is still no way to prove intent or do anything about it within the framework of the game.

 

 

Agree on most accounts. The only option we'd have would be to reduce the allotted time, but that's not possible with the overseas members and would only punish the other GMs anyway. Unless he puts it in writing that it's deliberate, I don't see a foolproof method of proving the intent neither. I wouldn't find the scenario above difficult to believe, though it's more likely than he simply doesn't care for others involved.

You're not wrong, but I feel like both guys are best with the ball in their hands, which could be tricky. It's certainly a scary combo to go up against.

I think both did quite well in 2 guard offenses where they didn't always have the ball.

I'll consider this as the aforementioned writing. You are correct. Nobody else here has a life outside of this forum. Which is precisely why it made sense to spend twice the amount of time making the selection and returning in the night time. What a life.

I do not object whatsoever. And I don't have an issue with changing the title names. I understand your point completely. Did you want to message berad? I assume the thread will be named, "(NBA) Draft a Franchise: Big Board," correct?

Like seriously the fact that you guys are even considering that I am intentionally stalling this is laughable. I have never missed a pick when I was informed I was up. NEVER. The fact that you think I'd intentionally derail this now for giggles is stupid and rather insulting. 

 

Also just cause I'm around, doesn't mean I can make my pick. Sometimes I'm on mobile and am not even there because this was the last page I viewed. Occasionally, I leave this up on my computer. Sometimes I get bored and check the thread, but have absolutely no pick in mind nor who was taken. It shouldn't matter so long as I don't exceed the time limit.

To chime in here...Yeah dude I actually understand. I'm never really bothered by people for using their time as they please, as I have done so myself. But, you should be more professional about it.

I didn't make my selection. We're several selections apart. My concern was with the other members and not just myself. That I do, which is what I do. It takes seconds to check a website. It's difficult to take the advice of getting over oneself and the game seriously from the only individual who professed himself as the reigning champion of both DaFs on numerous occasions.

 

The allotted time was granted in order to account for if and when somebody's real life plans prevented them from making the selection, so that they'd have enough time to sign on. It never meant that one could do whatever for 23 hours and 59 minutes, be entirely uninformed of who was selected before or what the possible choices are, make their selection in the waning seconds, and have everything be fine and dandy. It's half-expected that members make their selections as soon as they can. Otherwise, the NFL DaF would've taken 68 weeks to get to where it we currently are.

 

You've intentionally avoided putting up DaF and Depth Charts pages to the point where it became a running joke, to where the higher ups considered taking away draft selections from any member failing to do so, a consequence that would've been solely created in your honor. You were spotted by others and myself in different DaF threads within the same time frame of being online before leaving without warning without a selection made. A few have wondered aloud whether there was another motive involved and no attempts were made to dispel it. You haven't shown that you care anywhere beyond the bare minimum, if that, about any rules and regulations. It's not exactly unfathomable to wonder whether your absences were at least somewhat intentional.

Agreed, although I plan on playing him at the 4 so his deficiencies on the boards should be less pronounced. I think he pairs well with CP3 as a strong shooter with good range that can still get it done near the basket. His defense has quietly become very good as well and he offers some underrated rim protection.
