I wouldn't trust Lebron to stay, especially if the Cavs don't live up to finals/championship expectations. There are a lot of variables to work out.

He's not doing that to Cleveland again.

He should have if he really wants to win a title. It's hard to pass on $50 million though.

I might be biased but what guarantee did Melo have if he went to Chicago? Rose's health is still in question and it's not a sure thing. The Bulls have had problems staying healthy than past few years and for all we know Melo could be same to do the same thing he is in NY, be a volume scorer when the rest of the team is showing its inability to put points up. I said it before he signed, no way he goes to Bulls. Too much money left on the table for a HUGE gamble.

He also saves face by not abandoning NY after forcing a trade there.

There's clearly no guarantee he wins in Chicago, but even without a healthy Rose the roster is so much better. If Rose gets back to 90% of what he used to be + Melo, Chicago is probably favorites to not only win the East, but the Championship in 2015.

I don't blame him for taking the money and staying in NY. Maybe Phil Jackson can work some magic and actually build a legit team around him. I hope so for Melo's sake, because I have always liked him.

Street, one of the more underrated pitchers in game is an Angel.....

My pick to win the WS might change

Maybe, but I don't really rate his perimeter shooting and he's still unproven in post-up situations.

He's not a very good rebounder either, and his on ball defense is atrocious.

I have a doomsday bunker ready for the situation..... Even though I'm a Westbrook fan. We need a new player to trash that Gabe likes...

Rumour is that the Spurs may open the season in Cleveland. That has to be a bigger slap in the face than us heading to Denver because at least with us there was a question of logistics.

I thought he'd be keeping 6 for sure, but apparently Lebron is going with 23. Hash tag newsworthy.

His quest to get #23 retired throughout the league hasn't worked so it makes sense to go back to 23 for Cleveland as that is what he was there before.

Not surprised by the 2 teams.  Figured that would happen after LeBron announced he was going back to Cleveland.

People in Texas are PISSED

I don't blame them. With our home opener, we lost it because of unlucky scheduling and Bisciotti/Ozzie not wanting to move the date in respect to Art Modell, but in this case it the NBA would be moving it to hype up their poster boy. Both cases suck, but the Spurs would be copping a far bigger slap in the face.

I know we Ravens fans have managed to corner the market for feeling persecuted, but I'd say the Spurs get even less respect than us - especially given what they've achieved.

That is how more small market teams get treated it seems. Kinda stinks having larger market teams shoved down our throats. That does stink for the Spurs however, I now kinda hope they go in there and destroy them, would love to see the NBA's reaction to that lol

Wow, that's horrible. So unfortunate. Pacers are gonna have a rough season. I'd be surprised if he plays 1 game next year

Edit: yeah he's definitely not playing next season. Worse than the Ware injury a couple years back. Prayers for a speedy recovering....gruesome's the word!

Well I hope you guys enjoyed NBA players in international competition, because that's over now.

It won't be. What happened to PG is obviously terrible but players suffering injuries playing for Team USA is no different than them potentially suffering one in pro-am competitions like the Drew League. The NBA can't tell players not to ball in the off-season.

Cleveland gets Love, Philly gets Bennet, and Minnesota gets Wiggins and Young

Rubio, Martin, Wiggins, Young, Pekovic is going to be a pretty fun team

Love, Lebron, Kyrie obviously now the favorite in the East.

Going to be a fun year
