If they get Love and keep Wiggins then watch out...

Anyone think Waiters,Thompson/Bennett and draft picks would be enough?

Not possible

I guess Pat Riley must've pushed too hard for him. Over/under 3 seasons Spoelstra remains head coach? I'm going with 2.

Heats big 3: Wade/McRoberts/Granger lol. Makes it so sweet.

Edit: Knew I should've bet on Cleveland's 50/1 odds to win it all before LeBron came and made it 3/1

I've always respected LeBron but now I can say I like him again. The way he handled it this time was 100x better then before. I hate Cleveland but this is really cool for his legacy.

Hopefully Wiz/Cavs playoff series will be just as good....with different results though.

Last Lebron thought for now: this could be setting up a Melo to Chicago scenario since that's about his only shot at competing with Cleveland

I understand his decision in part. But honestly, I feel that of the Big Three, Dwyane Wade is left out in the cold. Each one opted out of their contracts. LeBron James will receive a max contract and join what will likely be a playoff contender that is willing to add another star player. Chris Bosh will receive a max contract and join a team that was already a playoff contender. And Wade, for who the market is uncertain as his name wasn't previously involved, will likely receive considerably less than he would have had he not opted out. Given that the latter was almost a guarantee, I have to assume he felt there was a chance of James re-signing, and I feel like James played this one too close to the chest. Considering how big the dominoes were, that strategy wasn't the best for his fellow FAs. It's a tough day to be a Heat fan, as I am forced to say goodbye to anything but a first round exit, if we reach the playoffs.

Please note that nothing disrespectful is meant, but this cracked me up:

God @TheTweetOfGod

You're welcome, Cleveland.

As much as I don't want the Browns to win, I do respect Cleveland sports fans and their loyalty to their teams. Those guys won't leave a finals game no matter how badly the Cavs are losing (unlike Miami).

If Lebron wants to be Jordans equal or maybe even surpass him he needs loyal fans, who will built up his legend. Michael has Chicago (another great sport town), Lebron might now have Cleveland, if he gets the Cavs their first championship (yet, another great achievement James would probably like on his resume). This "decision" makes alot of sense to me. It's still bold, he'll need to be the leader of all those young players, but it will also be his team and his alone.

Lebron doesn't have my respect still. But

Irving-Wiggins-Lebron-Tomphson-Hawes isn't too bad of a starting lineup

Hawes isn't a Cav.  He signed with the Clippers in FA.

Couldn't have said it better. I got a text saying he was leaving by my cousin and thought he was trolling (he's a Laker fan).

Wish LeBron all the best but this hurts.

Anywho. Reports(can't link for some reason) state that they're working on a 4 team trade to get Love WITHOUT wiggins. My guess is it involves Waiters, Tomphson and Bennett. Meaning they'll get Love and some depth

The reports are coming out that Chris Bosh is finalizing a deal with Miami, and that they are attempting to finalize one with Wade as well. The former is a major surprise after the reports about Houston. I don't see him being worth $23 million per year though. Slight desperation move.

Today was a good day for fans of the west. I'm hoping on the GSW, okc and SAS Blazers, and Grizzly bandwagon. If one of em do it. I'll be happy.

Lebron goes to team with little depth on bench. Especially if they trade for love

Houston loses backup center and still have Dwightmare. They lost Lin(who may not have been great but I hear Beverley is a trade target) and the first rounder. Not to mention they ain't getting melo. They're not winning the west.

Lakers still suck. Randle is a good turnaround piece and should be a future all star but they'll suck again. At least they got Lin AND a first rounder.

Miami will still be decent with Wade(who Should resign) and Bosh back. Losing Lebron stings but they'll still be good.

ATM my top title contenders in order are

SAS

OKC(if they get Pau they could make a push for #1)

LAC(grrrr. I hate you doc rivers)

GSW

Grizzlies

Bulls(if and only if Rose can stay healthy)

Cavs

Blazers

Rockets

Suns(sleeper)
