But I heard the Finals wouldn't start until June 6th regardless of the outcome for either series.

Yeah, I think we're in for a pretty dull couple of weeks. The certainty isn't too bad though - there's an off chance I'll be in the States around June next year so it always helps for planning the old schedule. It's just a little underwhelming how the best thing either losing side can hope for at this point is to jag a win or two.

And how about this stat from ESPN: today was the first time since 1977 the 1 and 2 finishers in the MVP voting have duked it out and one player got 40 points and the other less than 20 (that year, Kareem got 40 and Bill Walton got 14). How do these guys have the time to find stuff like that?

Well at least the NHL Playoffs have been more intriguing to watch (at least for me).

But I have no idea about these stats. Most of the time I feel like they're pulling stuff out of their you-know-what.

Agreed, I'm keeping an eye on my Ducks against the Blackhawks and the difference in spectacle isn't even close.

Heh, you could be right. It's not like anyone would go and try to disprove that.

Man....despite the loss, your Ducks have been kicking butt. I'd like to see them against the Lightning more so than the Rangers.

Nope. It really doesn't matter to me because I don't really watch ESPN as much with the exception of First Take (lol yep) and maybe Around the Horn/Pardon the Interruption.

Tristian Thompson is a big reason why I was dubious of the Wiggins/Love trade panning out for Cleveland. He's been huge this postseason.

Unfortunately I couldn't watch any of these games but I'm guessing Harden still has his playoff problems.... Also reading Dwight had another dirty play. Was that how Klay got hurt?

What an awful game. So sloppy. Harden chose a heck of a time to have one of the worst games of his career.

Cavs in 6.

Bad game wasn't all on harden.. Houston's offense was very stagnant with little movement..

No movement doesn't bode well at all for harden's style with someone like bogut down low

The Based God Curse is even more powerful than the Madden Curse. Scary stuff.

And guess what? The Cavs may be his next victim. What do you have to say about that?

I've got the Warriors in 6.  You guys?

Warriors in 7 if Curry and Thompson are healthy. If not, Cavs in 6.

The Bulls finally fire Thibodeau and we promptly hire Skiles. I'm disappointed at the hiring, but at least he has a track record of developing young teams into contenders. Hopefully we end up with someone else once we're ready to go all the way.

Overall I'm disappointed in the hiring, but I'm happy to give it time to grow on me.

Also, Warriors in 6. Hard to see them losing since Curry is playing too well and they're a better team top to bottom. Be good to see them win it too, they deserve it with how they're playing.

I am hoping for Wardell Stephen Curry of House Golden State, Second of his name, Fresh Prince, Baby Faced Assassin, Sinker of Three's, and Brother of Spashes and the rest of House Golden State to win the finals
