They sure did. While I agree about Green, I'd easily take him in Portland if Aldridge leaves us.

How bout you take Jeff green and his sorry self for us

I'll pass, but thanks for the offer. Yet his sorry self didn't have trouble scoring against us.

No surprises that the Clips are getting pasted. No recovering from a choke like that.

Yep. They looked gassed. I knew it was over for them before the game even started.

Well it's still...................Aldridge > Griffin in my biased (yet could be factual if I had the stats in front of me) opinion.

To all the haters in this thread, and there's a lot of you. Haaaaaah. Suck it

You still have the Conference Finals........

Great to see Elfrid Payton named as a first-team All-Rookie. He's a quality young guy to have and he emerged faster than I expected. When he gets better at defending and if he learns to shoot properly he's going to be a long-time star in the league.

I'm still more excited about Aaron Gordon's future, but there's a lot to love abut Payton.

It's a nerve-racking experience. Getting the #1 pick here could be the last vital cog in our rebuild (aside from potentially getting an All-Star in free agency), but since we're not getting it I'd be content if those ....... Lakers don't either.

Rumour mill is starting to say that the Pelicans have interviewed Alvin Gentry of the Warriors and are a bit iffy about giving up too much for Thibodeau. Whereas apparently we're prepared to give up a pick or two (a couple of seconds is the common speculation atm), give him a hatful of roster input and pay him something silly like $9 million a year. That's a good chunk of money, but it's not my pockets so whatever works.

I have a few reservations about Thibs, but he could be a huge pickup this offseason. Especially for all the defensive-minded players we have.

We end up with the 5th pick, which doesn't really surprise me. I think we can get Mario Hezonja or Justise Winslow at that point, or maybe a guy like Willie Cauley-Stein if we reach to fill a need.

Timberwolves get their first #1 pick in franchise history. They deserve it after all their waiting, but I'm kinda jealous about how quickly they've been able to retool. Andrew Wiggins and Karl Towns together one year after losing their star.

Good game between the Rockets and Warriors last night. Just hope that Howard didn't get injured to bad.

Welp, the 1-6-11 possibility everyone in my city wanted turned into just 3. I don't really think the initial pick is hurt too much by getting three because we don't have a huge need for those top two bigs, but three lottery picks this year might have sped up our "process" a bit. Now, I just foresee more trades for picks and assets, as well as many more losses, in the coming years.

To be fair, a lot did have to happen for the 1-6-11 possibility. I'm just pissed at the Lakers moving up, although after the Knicks were revealed to get 4 I thought the Lakers would get #1 so it could be worse. The tweet from Kobe about how they deserve that kind of luck rubbed me the wrong way too.

I'm a big LeBron guy, and do feel sorry for Cleveland fans (not Browns) to an extent... I am pulling for them to win it all. Though, I wouldn't mind seeing Steph Curry win as well.

If the Warriors don't win it all it'll be a bit of a failure for them. They're pretty much the only healthy team left standing.

Yea that does have a lot to do with it.. A few healthy west teams could give them a run for their money

Ugly start to the series for the Hawks, now down 11-5 early in the second. Really early days in game two, but going by that and the first game they just don't match up well with the Cavs.

No surprises how comfortably the Cavs made it look. The Hawks will be lucky to win a game in this series.

For all the talk of how bad Cleveland fans have it, things aren't so flash in Atlanta either. The Falcons have wrecked their own championship window and you have to wonder how much closer the Hawks will ever get.

It's still Lebron then everyone else

Yup

And this is why I want to see KD in DC. Not just because I'm a Blazers fan and want to see the Thunder irrelevant, but I'd like to see a legit "rivalry" between the Cavs and Wiz.
