Oh no, he missed one assignment... Probably can't find one of these on any other players in the league.

The Rockets and Harden included have played fantastic defense so far and are 7-1 with a point differencial of 11+ points.

If Harden reverts to the way he played defense last year. Have a go at him. But highlighting that play right there is just plain stupid.

That was quick.. I'm impressed

Just saw a picture of the Wizard's  Christmas jersey. I like it, but one thing bothers me. It, as some of their other jerseys belong to the Baltimore Bullets. The late Abe Polain (and I hope I spelled his name wrong) changed the name of the team as an anti-violence statement years ago. I, as an old dude, went to Bullet games in the Civic Center, have always believed Baltimore is an NBA worthy city. Just blowing steam here, but play ground B-Ball was the best! So were the Baltimore Bullets. Let D.C. have theirs but don't step on my home town. Besides our team mascot was a wiener dog named "Tiny B.B."  who ran around the court with a toy cannon, really? JMAO!   :oldwiseman:

Am I seeing this? But then again, I shouldn't be surprised, either...

But there's been a lack of talk with the Toronto Raptors. Naturally, being from Canada and all, I'm a fan of the Raps. And last year, they've had a terrific season that culminated with them going to the playoffs for the first time since the year the Ravens drafted Flacco et al (2008 was their last postseason appearance).

I think they're THE team to beat (along with the Bulls) in the Eastern Conference.

P.S. I also saw a comment that the Raptors are like the NBA's equivalent of the Arizona Cardinals (the team nobody talks about that is doing very well). Thoughts on that?

I'm just wondering if they have what it takes to beat the Cavs or Bulls in a 7 game series. It all depends on what they do as the season progresses.

Well, and I know it's early in the season, the Cavs seem beatable by the Raptors (LBJ and Love can't gel as far as I'm noticing, LBJ trying to do everything solo, etc.). But a matchup with the Bulls (hopefully in the Conference Final)? I'm sold on that, despite the loss the other night.

I'm curious to see how improved the Cavs' defense will they be later on the season. They've been shaky so far.

Heartbreaking one-point loss to a top team on the road last game keeps my Philly team winless.

Sixers schedule this week: @Spurs(A), vCeltics(B ), vSuns( C), @Knicks(D)

Where do we get our first win? (E - None of the above)

I'm going to be an optimistic individual and go with B.

Though I think Sixers management would be content with a 0-82 season.

Houston's on a back to back.. They'll prolly make a run and make it close

Not putting too much into this even if Memphis wins big

Whoa.. This is still true but easily a top 5 performance I've ever seen by grizzlies

Now Houston will prolly do the same to them wen they play again in like ?10 days

Houston lost to a much better team tonight. After the hot start, the wins against the 76ers and Thunder were really ugly. Need to pick it up again and get TJones back healthy.

Ehh like I posted already Houston 2nd game in two nights..

And honestly that's the best basketball Grizz have played all season by a large large margin

So many players/greats have been ripping into Dwight Howard this season. Just saw what KD called him.... Kobe earlier this season and now Gary Payton. Opinions biased or not, gotta account for things like this. I don't watch him on a consistent basis(only once or twice this year,) but I'm reading in some places that say he has no passion anymore and basketball is comes 2nd.

Yeah it's weird. I'm not so sure about the passion thing because the Rockets are doing pretty well for the most part. I guess I'm one of the very few who actually likes Dwight.

I got some places... Mostly comments by Houston fans on articles/twitter. I wanted to know your opinion on the matter since I hardly get to watch them play

I wouldn't say that he's lost passion cause no way we could really know but I would say he's very passive... Definitely doesn't have that competitive fire that others have

Magic are quietly 5-7, and sitting in eighth place. Our three away wins so far is one fewer than what we had on the road for the whole 2013-14 season. I wanted improvement, and we're well on track for that.

On Dwight, Ozzie knows I have no love for the guy but I don't buy the "he doesn't love the game" or "he isn't that competitive" stuff. I think he's an immature diva brat who could stand to grow up, but you don't succeed in the NBA without a passion for it. I think he just has a different personality to guys like Kobe or LeBron - not that different to a man-child version of Kevin Durant at a guess.

Dwight is the exactly the type that could succeed without the passion...

Like a randy moss

Possibly, and I know this athlete personality stuff is just speculation, but looking at Dwight's workout schedule I just find it hard to believe that he has no desire for the game or anything to that effect.

Not that I'm opposed to ripping on the guy, mind.
