Ravens to sign CBs Dominique Franks and Aaron Ross

Because free saftey is one of the more important positions for this team and Hill would be an upgrade adaquate or not?

As for Pr. This. Our team is a bunch of thugs. It doesn't get worse than this..... But who cares at this point?

Would he be an upgrade midseason though?  We know Hill is immensely talented, but I don't think that's the real question here.  If Brooks and/or Stewart are playing well, how much of an upgrade would Will Hill be coming off a 6 week hiatus?  I think he has a shot to come back and play some significant snaps for us come the end of his suspension (if he lasts that long), but nothing is guaranteed for him, despite his talent.

Franks still hasn't passed his conditioning test as he sat out of practice once again today.  Is there a limit to failures?  There should be.

Can't say the Houston front 7 was poor. Though the absence of Cushing again hurt them.  We were fortunate to lock into Graham in 2012, not sure either of these guys are near that stature.

He got released because he was overpaid and the new management preferred to cut their losses after the 2-14 season, they basically cleaned house of all the over paid players just eating up cap. That doesn't mean Ross wasn't a good player, just means he wasn't worth 5 mil a year, it was a bad contract to begin with.

Playing with a bad front 7 is the worst thing that can happen to a cb, hard to look like an effective corner when your just chasing shadows all game because your pass rush isn't getting any pressure. Eventually it starts to kill your morale when your job becomes exponentially harder because of the lack of pass rush.. It's hard to feel good about yourself and be on top of your game when your just demoralized from playing on the worst team in the NFL.

Ross has A LOT to prove in camp if he wants to make this roster but it's not fair to call him mediocre, been a victim of circumstance to a  large extent with the Jags stint and the injury last year.

Doesn't bode well for him. He clearly won't make the team like this. I'd guess we'd just cut him.

Yeah he's doing us no good if he can't even pass the conditioning test after 3 tries.

Wow that sucks. He was the most impressive out of all the other veteran cornerbacks The Ravens tried out.Hopefully he passes his conditioning test soon.
