I saw this on their show this morning and thought it was interesting.  Only using 15 points; you have to make the best NFL team.  Here are the positions, players and their points that was used on the show:

QB's                                        RB's                                   WR's

5 Joe Montana                        5 Jim Brown                       5 Jerry Rice

4 Tom Brady                           4 Barry Sanders                 4 Randy Moss

3 Peyton Manning                  3 Walter Peyton                  3 Steve Largeant

2 Johnny Unitas                      2 Emmitt Smith                  2 Terrell Owens

1 Bret Favre                            1 O.J. Simpson                  1 Marvin Harrison

TE's                                       Defense

5 John Mackey                      5 '85 Bears

4 Tony Gonzalez                   4 '76 Steelers

3 Mike Ditka                          3 '00 Ravens

2 Shannon Sharpe                2 '13 Seahawks

1 Kellen Winslow                   1 '02 Buccaneers

Mine would be:

Joe Montana 5

Walter Peyton 3

Terrell Owens 2

Shannon Sharpe 2

'00 Ravens 3

Ok easy..

Football is won in the trenches so you waste the most on the lines.

Oh wait... No lines here(stupid).

Then you waste the most points on defense and use the remaining ten to build up a all around offense...

2 Johnny Unitas

Jerry Rice

2 Emmit Smith

1 Kellen Winslow Sr

I got the greatest defense ever to go with the greatest WR, 2nd greatest QB, and NFL's all time leading rusher and a TE that revolutionized the game

EDIT: I can make this better.

4 '76 Steelers

2 Johnny Unitas

Jerry Rice

2 Emmit Smith

1 Kellen Winslow Sr

 1 Marvin Harrison

Cringe in fear......

NFL Network theory is basically Team = QB + Defense. I guess they added RB, WR, and TE to make it more of a game.

Brady-4

Simpson-1

Gonzalez-4

Bucs D-1(won with Brad Johnson at QB for goodness sakes. Sapp,D Brooks,R. Barber and Lynch. Every level covered.)

Pretty easy. Montana, Rice, OJ, Winslow and Ravens. Or Montana, OJ, Rice, Sharpe and Bucs D with a point to spare on Marvin Harrison. As someone else said, the Bucs won with Brad Smith. Regardless, I'd feel comfortable with either of these squads.

People let that whole murder case cloud their judgement of how good a rb OJ was.
