College Football Overrated

12 posts in this topic

Personally, I wouldn't be caught dead in a college football game.

College football is for young/undeveloped people!

Plus the competition is unfair, and some programs have recruiting advantages over others. Therefore you see more blowouts and less of talent.

The worst of all is people pay money to watch Not the Best Football players but developmental talent!

You spend money you gotta see the best. Period!

It baffles me that so many people picked college football rather than watching the Ravens win the Superbowl in 2012

Whoever says College Football is better than the NFL you deserve a slap in the face. I'll make an exception for students who attend colleges and their parents and siblings!

I will be going to Army-Navy in December, got my tickets on Navy Sports website  might be some still available there.  its one  of the few games with a lot of tradition left, its more like brother against brother.   I will be in the stadium to see the march of midshipmen and cadets.  This a bucket list sporting event.  They call this America's Game and the last regular season game of college football season.  Don't be surprised if you see the President or a few Generals in the house.

It's usually a blowout, but it's a great tradition.

I love when complete underdogs beat the Goliaths of the NCAA. Anyone remember Michigan getting pasted by Appalachian State. That's what I live to see. That and movies where the bad guys win!!!

College football is almost JUST as fun as watching the nfl. You get to see future stars and great plays. Did you watch the Last Iron Bowl? You have to admit that was a GREAT game. I'd honestly rather watch Alabama vs LSU as opposed to some nfl games like "texans vs Titans".

You missed 2 other facts.  The NCAA is so ridiculously corrupt it's not even funny.  The only thing they care about is money.

And most of all.....can't we all agree the BCS is a joke?  I never watch college either, and I won't until they get a legitimate process to determine the best team.

Yeah that was a hell of a game. Like I said if I see alot of future NFL prospects than that's the only time I would watch the the college game. I would make exceptions to game like that. In Alabama's case they don't have an NFL team so I can't deny them their love of College Football.
