Steeler Free Agents/cap Space

We all know the key free agents Baltimore has after this year (Ray, Bart, Suggs) but what about the Steelers? Does anyone know if they may lose any of their core guys next year like we likely will? What's their cap situation like?

i dont know their cap situation but they pretty much have everyone locked up except for CB bryant mcfadden. their defense is just as old as ours though.

So I'll answer my own question... Let it be known I'm not too sure of the accuracy of this. I thought they gave Farrior a contract extention a year or two ago. Either way he's the only free agent of any real consequence.

most of those are right. except farrior did get an extension so hes off. also add WR nate washington to that list

As for salary cap, I couldn't find anything current on it. The most current thing I found showed us(Steelers) with the least room of any team under the cap.

We signed Farrior long term.
Not sure what they'll do with Willie "5 penalties or blown protections per game" Colon.
Cedric Wilson was cut
I doubt Marvel Smith will be back

McFadden is our only concern, but Gay seems to be ready to take the spot. We shall see.
