Harbs/Tyrod question

97 posts in this topic

If you look at the tape, Joe's a significantly better thrower than Tyrod too. I'd love to see Tyrod succeed, but there's no way he can even do something like this.

FlaccoBoldinTOuchdown_original_original.

And that's before you get into the more complex or difficult stuff. Joe definitely has his flaws, but your new system argument doesn't really say why Tyrod will get the nod over #5.

I'll see that, and raise you 10x.....

This is one of the greatest throws I have ever seen in my life -- and guess who threw it??

Yeah that was the first time we got to see what our future was going to look like at center... and our wrs were Thompson Dickson Doss and some of Jones...Pierce was the main back with allen. The Bengals played basically their starting d because I remember the int Taylor threw was to the guy who signed a big contract this off season. And the Patriots game... how well was it going for Flacco that game... was he lighting it up.

No they did not leave their starters in outside of one or two guys. That is not true. As for the WRs, those are the guys Tyrod works with and practices with. If anything - he should have had the timing down with those guys outside of perhaps Jacoby.

By using that comparison Joe should not have thrown 22 int because he played with the same line and wrs all year in practice. Just because he practice with them doesn't mean they were good enough to start. They were 2 and 3 for a reason. Look I understand Flacco is the qb for the Ravens I just don't understand why everyone is hating on the BACKUP qb. I never said he should start and he won't if he continues to play for the Ravens but why hate on a guy who is your BACKUP.

This is Baltimore...we don't show respect to our QBs, no exceptions, sorry

Ok after reading every player article since the 1st round of OTAs, Harb's has stated that everyone looks good and he likes what he sees from that player. That got me to thinking, did Harbs personally call out any other player last year for their disappointing performance besides Tyrod Taylor (the freaking backup QB)? Maybe I'm a little emo about this b/c Tyrod is a local kid, who shouldn't have even been mentioned in the discussions regarding the disappointment of last season.  Even with Ray Rice's dismal season, I don't ever recall (not saying it didn't happen) Harbs say he was disappointed in Ray's performance.  If he did call out someone, who was it?

I agree with you.  Im a HUGE T.Taylor Fan.  IMO he has that it factor. You cant measure it.  Its up there with Vick in his prime.
