Talk about a bust free agent signing. Jake Long has once again tore his ACL and is out for the season. While the Rams do have Greg Robinson, it does seem this could be it for Long.

Very unfortunate. He was the most talented running back since ladanian Tomlinson coming out.

Oh man, that sucks. I was rooting for the Cardinals to win the West. Took a while but the Super Bowl host curse finally hit the Cardinals.

Big blow to Miami too, both potential playoff teams losing key players.

Coincidentally, back in 2005 he signed a big extension with the Bengals that would have kept him there through 2014 (wow) and tore his ACL a couple weeks later on a low hit from the Steelers in the playoffs.

The entire NFC West has lost three key players, specifically the 49ers, Seahawks and Cardinals.

 

49ers place Patrick Willis on IR, Arizona put Palmer on IR and Seahawks have put DT Brandon Mebane on season ending IR.

We won't be seeing Ryan Mallett most likely when we face Houston. He will be out several weeks with a torn pectoral. Meaning, Fitzmagic will be back under center for The Texans.

Vikings RT Phil Loadholt suffered the same injury and is out for the year as well.

Browns S Tashaun Gipson is likely out for the rest of the season with a grade 3 MCL sprain. Probably would be back in time for playoffs though.
