Announcement at 11 Est - M&T Bank and Ravens extend partnership through 2027

The announcement probably has something to do with the naming rights. Either M&T is extending their deal, or they're choosing to name it something else. (perhaps Unitas Stadium, or Art Modell Stadium?)

question, is there anything they could engineer for our stadium to amplify the crowd more? maybe add corner decks and close up those gaps, make it a giant steep bowl stadium where all the sound gets trapped in and blows opponents eardrums out. the bank is already one of the louder stadiums in the league with some of the livest fans, and thats with a stadium design that doesn't optimize crowd noise in any way, give us a bowl stadium and put mini domes lengthwise over the seats(like seattle), we would be shattering sound records from seatlle and KC

I'm surprised how few people have said Ray Lewis statue because I would almost guarantee that's what it is. Probably just announcing when it will go up and that there will be an unveiling ceremony on (insert date). There's been a couple teasers and videos about the completion of the statue on here so that would make a lot of sense,

you even read the op?

I've always wanted it to be named after a really important figure because naming it after a business just says money speaks, but naming it after a Baltimore icon is respect.

I'm not sure they would name it Unitas Stadium since Towson University already has Johnny Unitas Stadium. The latter sounds cool though. Even Under Armour Stadium would be cool too since they have awesome products and they are a Maryland company.

If it was a name change to another company, I highly doubt M&T Bank would be at the announcement.

Also, I like saying "at the Bank".  How do you shorthand "Under Armour Stadium" lol :D

So the 11:00 am special announcement was made at 10:50am?

I guess.

As far as the announcement goes, I definitely wasn't surprised. I always liked calling it "The Bank," but that's just me.

What do you think this will mean for our new offense knowing for sure the stadium's name won't change for so long?

Whenever there's an announcement about an upcoming announcement in the offseason, we should all know not to get worked up about it.

Bah. I was hoping it's about the portable sideline fence ready for week 2.

Twitter leaks lol.  Much like the draft.  People find out info way before it's announced.

The Armour.

But seriously, I was just throwing stuff out there because I had a feeling it was an anticlimactic announcement.

"It's a shame we lost to the Steelers today, but we'll beat them in the rematch back at the Armoury."

So much better than Ketchup Field too.

Should've named it TD bank. You know, TD (touchdown). But mostly so I could get a Ravens debit card.

Wish it was something more fan related like WiFi, like ExLax Field in Landover is getting soon, but

since Verizon is a sponsor they don't want other cell phone companies to have an advantage.
